This was our second time staying at the property. And we can’t wait to book again for next year!
We bring our little dog, she loves the freedom of running around up and down to the lake.
The privacy and serenity of the cabin is ideal to recharge and relax. Yet, you are few minutes away from the Watkins Glen, the wine trail and so on. The owner added a new patio deck to the house, made it even easier to enjoy the magical view of the lake. The cabin is equipped with all basic needs, kitchen has all the features (drip coffee machine, toaster, microwave). Fire stove inside is easy to use and makes it cozy.

Very nice view. Cabin was comfortable.

My husband and I and our son and his girlfriend stayed at this property in September. We loved the cabin, the location, the lake, and everything about our stay. We had a great time! The only thing that could have been better would have been the weather. But, we still went swimming and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We made a fire in the fire pit one night and had smores. We would definitely love to come back and stay here again. Thank you. The Conklins

We found this gem of a property- the perfect size for our family of 4 and 2 pups. The house is as advertised- small but adorably rustic and spotlessly clean- and the deck overlooking the lake is a dream! We spent all the time outside enjoying the deck, the pavilion with the grill, and the lake. The half-mile driveway made it safe for our pups. We could walk into the lake from the shore (not too deep there to do that), which was perfect for swimming and playing with the dogs on hot days. There is a sulfur smell from the bathroom, which is the only negative (and can't be helped). We will stay again!

This was the perfect location for a Seneca lake trip. Being on the water was great! Beautiful sunrise and sunsets, great fishing for my husband. The beds were so comfortable! Kitchen had everything we needed. Deck was a great space to unwind. The listing was accurate that the space wasn't baby proofed but with a few minor adjustments (putting things away or blocking them off) we were able to make it work for our son. The air conditioning kept the space nice and cool. We really appreciated being able to bring our dogs with us and felt right at home. So close to wineries, distilleries and breweries as well as Watkins Glen.

A nice place to relax with an amazing Lake Seneca view.
Though most of the furniture in the cabin needs to be replaced as it is extremely uncomfortable due to its overused condition.

We enjoyed a beautiful week here in July. The weather was perfect! The house offered everything we could want, and was in the perfect location for anything else we needed - sandwich place right around the corner, Walmart down the street, gas stations, and of course wineries!
The beachfront property was lovely and private. The view was fantastic also and had a new deck to relax on. The house stayed cool with the ac unit during one of the hottest Julys in a while.
We will definitely be looking forward to returning.

Great place, everything about the cabin was amazing! Everything you could need is there for you, including my husbands favorite a Dream Theater DVD! Very clean and super close to some great wineries and Watkins Glen with some great restaurants. If you’re coming for some outdoor time there is a creek right on the property the lake is clear and they have steps right into it. Kayaks are there and many other places rent them very close by if you needed more than two. Close to state parks and lots of hiking opportunities. We have nothing bad to say about this place or our stay! We will definitely be back!!

This property was at the perfect spot for us on the lake. It was at a great location on the east side of Lake Seneca, close to great wineries and breweries, as well as close enough to Watkins Glen.
The photos do not do this place justice as to the beautiful outdoor space both with the deck, pavilion, and waterfront area. It was absolutely gorgeous.

Cottage and view were beyond expectations. Loved the privacy, ability to walk to the lake's edge, the wide deck area to view the sunsets and how fully stocked the cottage was with everything you might need. Also, thoroughly enjoyed the proximity to Watkins Glenn and the vineyards. One thing in particular was the cleanliness of the place and lack of any mustiness odor. A place to return too and one we would highly recommend and have to others as well. Gene and Susan, June 2023.

We were looking for a quiet nature escape on the lake-and we got it 100%! Rustic cabin in the woods, wit spectacular views of the lake. It gave us the needed remote feeling, yet it’s is perfectly located in the mix of the wine trail (wineries and breweries just up on the main road) and close to Watkins Glen for hiking the trails.

Very relaxing and great view for the sunset over the lake . Just outside of town . Great place to relax at the water . And wine tasting or hiking is not that far of a drive .

Positives. Location and view, responses from Stacy. Negatives. Stated it had a dock, but could not tie a boat to it. Water supply came straight from the lake. No washer & Dryer. No smoke alarm. Beam into kitchen is 6’1”. I’m 6’3”. OUCH.
Blame myself for negatives. Should have asked more questions before I booked, just took for granted what I have come to expect from VRBO

Great Birthday Weekend
Spent my wife's birthday weekend here. Plenty of room and close to a lot of beautiful wineries. Some reviews I read before going complained about the driveway but we had no problems at all. Not sure way there are speed bumps on a gravel driveway but not a big deal. Enjoyed our stay very much.

The cabin was perfect for four people and we also brought our dog. The description is stated correctly and the pictures are accurate of the cabin.. It was very peaceful and relaxing on the lake. Cabin and decor is very rustic . Beds were not very comfortable would be the only issue we had with our stay. We had no problem with the driveway as stated in some reviews. The cabin was in a good location to explore all the wineries, breweries, waterfalls and the other lakes.

We loved the property views. The steps and dock are very new and safe, although, anyone with knee issues or difficulty walking should not rent this cottage. Many steps and steep hill. We had no trouble driving our Honda Civic FWD on the driveway to the cottage.
The cottage was very cozy with a great view of the lake from the living area.
Could use some decorative touches but overall, a great cottage at the right place and price. Supplied well. Amy, the owner, was delightful and enjoyed talking to her. Thanks, Amy and Marc!

Rustic but yet cosy. The good:Cabin was as advertised. I will say upfront, my wife and I are used to more "organized" vacations to hotel properties and a resort. With this pandemic, we were looking for something to get away from the city. We admit we are a bit inexperienced. That being said. Linens were provided. My sister explained to me that most cabins in the woods you are to bring your own. needs improvement:the bed in the left bedroom was lumpy and could be replaced. My wife had some trouble with it. the other room where my son was was fine. What a "city person" MUST know before booking this location:Look, I knew what to expect. My wife and son did not. This is a good property. However, city folks that come out to the country need to know about roads and conditions. It's the "woods" come prepared. Like I said, it was not bad. you need bug spray down at the water. The road in and out,....yes. the owner does warn you that you need a FOUR WHEEL drive or a subaru outback to get into the property. I made the mistake of taking my wife's toyota highlander. However, it is a 2 wheel (front wheel) drive as we have this "truck" from Miami where her family is from. Down south, SUV's and pick up trucks commonly have front wheel drive. Florida is flat. A lot of so called suburban adventurers know nothing about rural life. I am the 1st to say it. do NOT attempt to drive down the road here without 4 wheel drive. the "ski slope" is about 20 degree grade. I made the mistake of driving down. I had to throw it in reverse and carefully "navigate" back up the slope to the "1st landing". I spent the week taking my groceries and baggage up and down the slope with a "fire island wagon" that thank God I took. I didn't bother or complain to the owner or property manager. Why? because unlike most people who leave reviews, I accept what is in front of me and deal with it like an adult. More people need to do that. So when you "roll a lemon" make lemonade. Why am I posting this now? To warn any other "wantabe city/suburban warrior" to know what you're getting into. If you are older, bring your hiking gear. We had our hiking sticks to get up and down the slope from the cabin and our vechicle. It's all good. I state this in the interest of general awareness and safety. I will REPEAT, the owner's notice is valid. PLEASE LISTEN. Lesson learned for me and my family. We made the best of it and burnt a lot of carbs, so that was a good thing. no complaints on this.

There is so much potential for this rental, but based on the condition of the property the owners only want to make money without putting a cent back into it. The cabin is cozy, and the kitchen and bathroom are pretty clean. But you will find dead insects between the storm windows and window panes, dirt, and who knows what underneath the beds, and neglected flower pots with cob webs. The trail down to the water is very dangerous for people who are vision impaired. Toward the bottom, dirt and shale cover half the platform that leads to the final steps. The dirt and shale narrow the trail to the point of making it dangerous. Installing a railing and removing the dirt and shale must be done to prevent a serious accident. When you get to the bottom, it is nice with a beautiful view right on the shore, but again neglect raises its ugly head. The dock has a board that pops up, and the steps down to the water are pretty beat up (they look like they are left in year round). I would not recommend this rental.
