Fantastische bedden!!

The carper in the long corridor to reach the rooms are a bit old, they can be changed

Communication and customer service is greatly bad.
Resolving issues and helping clients I’d rate as ZERO

The location was very good and the staff were helpful. The room was spacious and clean.
However, all of the above were shadowed by the the fact that the air condition was not working for my room for the duration of my stay. This fact, coupled with the heatwave that struck Berlin during my stay made my room almost unbearable to be in due to the high temperature and humidity. Generally I was extremely disappointed about this and when I probed the staff they said that this was something that it was a hotel-wide problem.... Unfortunate, as otherwise it'd a great stay.

Unprofessional treatment of customers and lack of problem-solving skills of staff.
Stayed at the Leonard Hotel for a week at the beginning of May, and things were going well at first. When I checked in my companion and I found a plastic wrapper on the ceiling of the fire detector, but at the time we didn't pay much attention to it as we were tired from the road and there was no thought that it could be something abnormal as the room should have been prepared for our arrival.
The next morning I put my two mobile phones on the table by the bed, unaware that the table was broken. As a result, I accidentally put my foot on the table, the glass surface of the table, which was not fixed (simply put, broken) began to turn over and fall to the floor, hitting my foot, but the main impact was on the mobile phone, on which the glass top fell with the edge. The phone was of course destroyed.
After a couple of minutes of stress, I decided to contact reception because the situation was strange to say the least, there was a broken object in the room at the time of check-in, which in theory could have caused damage if the table top had fallen on my leg with the same force as it did on the phone. I subsequently regretted my decision.
Not only that at first I was almost presented with a check to repair the table, but I was also accused of having put a film on the fire alarm, which incidentally turned out to be a shower cap (!) Would I have gone to the reception if I had put this cap on the fire alarm without taking it off? In the end, the situation looked like an attempt to jump the situation with a broken table in the room, in the end, adding up the cap and a table can come to the conclusion that not only the rooms are not particularly prepared for the arrival of guests, and staff twists the fact in their favour.
In addition to this situation, I can add that there were stains on "fresh" towels, but it made no difference, as it became clear what a 4-star hotel this is.

Room was clean and room service good.
Reception staff unwelcoming, no drinking water in the room, not great value for money.

Location was very good, close to Alexanderplatz train station by tram and a quite neighbourghood. I liked the bar design and the restaurant menu.
If you dont have breakfast included, note that coffee from the bar is served only after 10.30. The hotel has a sauna, but you would need to collect the bathrobe and slippers down at the recepsion.

Size of room is good.
Quilt is too thin and too small.

Ultimately, the hotel was fine. Good location in the centre of Berlin, good room size, was nice that the room had a smart TV.
Hotel were good in accommodating me for a an early check-in (10am).
Staff were accommodating - no complaints here
Was surprised to have been charged 8 EUR at the hotel bar for a 1.5ml bottle of water. I understand a mark-up but that seemed excessive.
Also one of the towels we got at the beginning was stained.
Though I didn’t like that I had to pay for a late check out (3pm) it was only 25 EUR which made a lot of sense for me given my flight time
6.0
Good location, comfortable mattress.
3-star breakfast; very basic. Food quality ok, but nothing but ordinary. Only one or two people were at the reception. There were long lines of clients at the reception, so getting any questions answered was difficult. Ridiculous parking ticket system. No shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom. Poor quality of hair dryer. No flip-flops.
