The location is wonderful and the sea view from my room was lovely.
The showering situation is poor - the tray too small, the hose does not stay on the holder, the shower curtains don’t keep the water in and are dirty. The bathroom is too small.
The bed cover was stained and the breakfast could be better.

We stayed in this hotel for two days. The location was perfect! Everyone was very polite and friendly. They also made every effort to make our stay an enjoyable one. Can't complain about the breakfast too. We would have stayed longer if they were not fully booked.
The plastic curtain in the bathroom could be replaced with glass to avoid water spilling on the floor.

Great location and value. Basic hotel, clean and efficiently run. Decent breakfast. Rooftop bar is lovely. Small pool but nice option.

Aiming at a price point and achieving it. The location on the seafront was great. The room was fine and in line with the Booking.com photos so no surprises and everything was clean. Staff really friendly. The small pool on the roof was really nice as was the bar, a very good ambiance. Probably worth staying at the Itanos for that alone.
Would suggest going out for breakfast at one of the more imaginative options in the harbour.

Location
This hotel could be good. The location is great. The roof top bar could be great. It just needed to be renovated 20 years ago. They need new beds that have a supportive base so you don't feel like you are going to fall out. Sheets that are the right size for the mattress might be a good starting point. I won't mention the bathroom but I'm sure that you get the gist. But hey..you get what you pay for. Unfortunately in this case I think that we paid to much.

Very good location, basic hotel, tiny rooms and bathrooms. This we knew before booking so no surprises. Fair value for money. Pleasant and friendly staff on front desk.

Great location within easy walking distance of the beach, the waterfront, restaurants, and shops. The rooftop bar offered reasonably priced drinks with an exceptional view of the waterfront and beyond.

The breakfast is good, the bed comfortable (for me), the view (if you book one of the room with seaview) and the location are out of discussion, in front of the harbour and of all the excellent restaurants. Cleaning of the rooms and bathroom is very good.
This hotel is likely one of the oldest in Sitia, and this is visible. The phonic isolation is almost zero (you hear absolutely everything your neightbour tells on the phone). The staff is not very smilling; they never ask you if your stay is fine or not. The room and equipment are from another age. Eveything is working so far but e.g. the shower is ridiculously small: impossible to move without touching the tap. The breakfast room was cold as a cave and if you intend to stay there in March/April, wear your jacket.
I staid in Itanos for 3 weeks because the usual hotel I stay was closed in this season of the year. If I can I will not book a room in this hotel anymore.

We stayed during the off-season so it was quiet, parking was available, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We extended our stay so that we could explore the area more. We would certainly stay at this hotel again.

We were staying here for one night having arrived at the port by ferry & it was an easy walk from the port to the hotel with our luggage & easy to locate. We were given a voucher for the attached waterside restaurant for an aperitif & a desert & we thus had a very well priced meal & in addition the food was excellent.

It's in a perfect location with lovely views. Convenient to all the waterfront restaurants and 5 minutes from free parking. The room was small but perfectly comfortable, with a little balcony with 2 chairs, a table, and a small rack for drying clothes/swimsuit. Breakfast was good and plentiful.
The bed linens were not well fitted. At times the wifi was not working.

The hotel has a great location!
The rooms are very small and you feel very closed up. Even the bathroom. I would not recommend if you are - family of 4 or 3, too small.

The location of the hotel was perfect just in the center of the city. The staff was very helpfull and the room was clean.
The breakfast was very good and rich.
The balcony of the room we had was very small, and had absolutely NO VIEW. Of course the view wasn't promissed in the reservation confirmation. But we really didn't need it, because we were outsite till late at night.

Breakfast was good, plenty of choice, location of hotel is very central. We had a room with a sea view. Room had everything you could want, safe,hairdryer,tv,comfy bed.
Due to school holidays noise outside was very loud, due to a small funfair for children in the square just outside hotel. Would go back again but not in school holidays.
