Mince pies on the table and clotted cream in the fridge, logs and kindling for the fire, Lovely touch!

Took us a while to work out how to operate the gas central heating system (apart from the log fire which was awesome! 😎)

Need to let occupants know weekly parking pass is available at the harbour masters office before paying the £12 per day for parking.

The stairs are very steep and unsuitable for the elderly or infirm. I found them difficult to get down.

Location was perfect to explore. Beds were very comfortable and cottage very clean. Lovely welcome pack on arrival.

The shower needs careful adjusting and getting the temperature just right was very tricky - either freezing or scalding so might need a look at.

The cottage is lovely and it's in a great location, a stone's throw from the centre of Newlyn with a handy co-op, a nice pub (Swordfish), a superb restaurant (Argoe), and yet the cottage is very quiet.

The fridge didn't work, which was annoying but didn't spoil our stay. We received apologies and were given a £10 co-op voucher to compensate for spoilt milk.

the introductory sheet left on the table advised us to look at the information pack about the property and the area, but this was nowhere to be found. I did contact the agents who said they'd act on it, without results during our week.

Entry was very straightforward with the key box. The bed was very comfy and the whole place was well equipped. Great location for shopping and getting to Penzance.

Although there was a wood burner there wasn’t any wood provided therefore I was cold almost the whole break, unless I was in bed. There was a small radiator in the sitting/dining area but not enough heat. The kitchen was very well equipped but a suggestion is that some oven gloves be provided as due to the weather and time of year (November), I didn’t venture out, therefore I cooked at the cottage. Trying to get food out of the microwave/oven proved dangerous as I had to use a tea towel to take the food out. A folder of useful information would also be helpful. There were a few leaflets on places to visit and instructions for microwave etc. but no general info. ie pubs in the area, bus times etc.
