Cleanliness of the highest level. Everything you would want in a home from home. Really comfortable beds, lovely to sit as a family chatting before our evening night out. More relaxed than a hotel. Great communication from Sally, thank you very much.

the house is advertised for 6, but in the house we found a notice that for safety reasons the maximum occupancy is 5 only!

Other than this, the place is not clean or furnished as advertised. The host is lousy in providing services for eg - my grandmother is old and needs a heater as she feels cold easily, we had to call each day to request the heater to be switched on. The bedsheet smelt of being used by previous guests and the entire floor which occupies 3 rooms is shaking and creaky making it very noisy and troublesome for a family. The rooms are extremely opposite to the photos shown as they are small and the beds are of cheapest quality making it hard for people with slightest of back pain The dustbins smelt profusely and were kept unclean for us when we arrived. The worst bit was the host tried to pin extra details on our checkout for them to retain the pre-authorized amount of money which was the worst treatment received for a hospitable family owned business. I'd give 4/5 but the service is appalling enough to barely reach 1/5 for a family house that they advertise hospitality. Would not recommend. P.S - the last picture shows that given our error in knowing our checkout time at 10 we had to make a brisk exit by 11 yet cleaning all the utensils. The host came back with issues of water seeping in the sink without any proof. I'm not a disgruntled guest but a disappointed one because the location and the stay could have been a comfortable experience.

The area was quiet at night. The facilities were great. The shower in the bathroom is huge. The garden is a lovely sun trap. The parking is good.

The stairs are quite steep and the steps quite shallow. Was OK for us but I imagine might be a problem for some. The numbers are quite difficult to see on the key lock box. We used a torch.

Staff really helpful we found ourselves needing emergency accommodation and Sally couldn't have been more understanding and helpful.

The following things were amazing; Super quiet location, cleanliness, the kitchen is just wow, very comfy mattresses, very good size rooms, wonderful bathroom & lovely showers, big and private garden.
