Clean. We appreciated the breakfast being menu-based (though the options were standard North American cheap hotel fare). Evening crew was very friendly.

The air conditioner was noisy, which made it difficult to sleep. We had the fan on constant, to drown out street noise (which was a bit loud even through the glass), but the AC would kick in automatically every so often with a loud start, which would wake one or both of us up. There was no way to control that except through ear plugs, which didn't quite resolve it. We asked for a different room, but they told us the only other room(s) would be just as noisy and that the AC noise was 'normal.' In our experience it wasn't. Also, hallway noise was loud, with doors slamming every so often as neighbors entered their rooms. Morning crew was unsympathetic to our concerns. If you're a light sleeper, check the room AC and ask for a room as far from both roads as possible.
