I was late for breakfast, but the lady who was working there did everything to help me have my meal with whatever was still available. She also brought back some things that she had already moved out from the serving area.
The heating and cooling system was too loud. Had trouble getting into sleep.

The room I was in only had a tub, with no hand rails or no nonslip rubber mat for the tub. I am over 75 and was scared of falling in the bathtub. I am over 75 and was scared of falling.

Good basic breakfast
The first room we were offered smelled strongly of stale smoke. We asked for a different room and it was no problem. This room smelled good.

The continental breakfast was hot and tasty, good options of juice and drinks, also good selection of muffins and Croissants. Plenty of seating. Staff were alert to any problems and unobtrusive. Lots of space between seating at breakfast is good.
For a short stay it was perfectly fine. The rooms are a bit on the medium to small side for a longer stay. There was obviously a place where art had hung on the wall and was now gone. Bathroom grout was a bit mildewed.

We were disappointed in the room. There was a smell of smoke, no one had vacuumed under the beds for some time. The curtains were dirty and there seemed to be mold on the ceiling above the window. Not great. The staff at reception, when we arrived and when we left in the morning, were helpful and cheerful.

Breakfast was usual fare. Area was clean. Staff was very friendly. Corridors were nicely carpeted. Nice tile in bathroom and entrance to the room. The bed was comfortable.
The carpet was filthy! Large stained areas. There was mild on the caulked corners of the tub area. The furniture needs refinishing and since it is solid wood it would be worth refinishing instead of replacing.

Its right on the ganaraka river amazing place for fishermen that want to chase the chrome!
Checkout times for fisherman suck cuz you have to get off the water at prime time to go checkout haha

Breakfast was fine and good location to the theater.
Problem with the room door lock. Would not close properly so left for the evening with the door ajar with expensive equipment inside. Informed the front desk. Not impressed

Shower floor was extremely slippery to the point where I felt unsafe & my wife refused to use it. Noisy on fri. night. loud party & dog barking at 3 am. south entrance very unsafe. In the dark Fri. night, I fell into the depression at the door. I could not see it. very dangerous.

The staff at front desk gave us a discount due to our complaints noted below. They were very courteous. The breakfast was very good.

Front desk staff were personable and helpful. Room on 3rd floor was quiet, clean, and I appreciated the blackout curtains. Bed was comfortable. Good wifi.
No in-room coffee/hot water machine. :( Perhaps they think guests will walk over to the Tim Hortons… but it sure would have helped during colder, rainy weather, to wake up and make a warm beverage. Seemed odd.
If you want a warm breakfast, grab it at Timmy’s when you get your morning coffee. The hotel offers small to-go cups of coffee with their selections, between 6 & 9, after that, you’re out of luck - and there are no mugs for in-room re-heating.

Close to the highway and good variety of food choices.
Confirmed at check in my room was a non-smoking room. Was assured the whole property was smoke free. When I went to the room it smelled like a bingo hall from the 1980’s. Too tired from my drive to go and express my dissatisfaction, and it was only for a one night stay. The front desk clerk said she checked the room prior to giving it to me, but said she’s a smoker herself, so maybe she just wasn’t able to smell it.
