breakfast was ok

the hotel is old and dated, the room was not cleaned on the saturday, there was seldom someone at the front desk, no one there when I checked out so could not get my invoice

Short drive to the beach, clean , air conditioned.

It’s a little pricey as there is not much within walking distance.

Breakfast options were plenty and sufficient. Inn's location is great. A great sunset view point, Scubby's Point Park is located 3 minutes away in driving. Rooms are clean, and most of all useful amenities were available in the room.

The summer breakfast must be what everyone is talking about because the breakfast here was not good at all. Nothing was served hot and they didn't have anything everyone was raving about. Should indicate that when booking so people don't have to go out and buy their own breakfast. Also we were put directly beside the front desk when the hotel was completely open, my guess is we were being watched, made me very uncomfortable. Also second night they had another group come in that was partying. In an entire empty hotel they also decided to put them in the room besides us. Extremely disappointed and won't be returning to a quality in ever.

It was great quality all around, nice rooms, parking lot, nice Christmas decorations inside, free coffee and tea area 24/7. One of my favourite things was the two chairs and table in the rooms so you don’t always have to sit on a bed or desk chair. Nice touch. It had a nice breakfast every morning with the essentials for your day like a make your own Belgium waffle which is always fun and some classic stuff like cereal, oatmeal, muffin, yogurt, egg sandwiches, bananas, hard boiled eggs. Also some orange and apple juice. Everyone working there is so kind and down to earth. They were helpful when we needed their assistance. The main road with the shops and restaurants was about a 10 min walk, …if that. It was snowy, so I imagine in the summer it would be an extra quick walk. It was great to go grab food for dinner in the evenings. It was also a short walk to the water to take in that beautiful view as well as the market, the museum and to fairy lake which is a nice peaceful spot. Overall, it’s a top drawer hotel!

Clean good sized room. No complaints at all. Breakfast was good also. Although you had to take it back to your room.

The was no one at the desk when we arrived and a 'Back in 10 minutes sign'. It was much longer than 10 minutes. We went shopping and still not there when we came back. The sign stayed up for the 2 days we were there, so there was no permanent check-in person. The gentleman that checked us in was not exactly cheery. Like he didn't really want to be there.
