The room was amazing for our family of 5. The value and the location were very good . Very clean - The kitchen separate .. it’s a great goal in NY

The breakfast.. our room was included, but all day were the same things and some product didn’t fresh.

Great location to walk to any places. Also handy location to subway etc so very easy to get around. Kitchenette in room was handy to make a quick breakfast or snack. Staff friendly and welcoming. Washing machine/dryer available for use in basement

Loved the location. The bed was so so comfy and so were the pillows. Housekeeping was good and very considerate.

The bathroom was cold all the time. The toilet needs to be tightened down. The shower was okay, but probably the weakest part of our room.

• The location was ideal. • Romeo the doorman was a great ambassador for your hotel. He is a kind, gentle man. We loved talking to him. • The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

• The water pressure in the shower was low. • The refrigerator froze every liquid we put in it — milk, orange juice, soda — despite our efforts to modulate the temperature. • I think for $400 per night a continental breakfast could be included. $20 per day per person for a continental breakfast is egregious.

מלון נהדר, קיבלנו חדר ענק! ממש כמו סוויטה נשיאותית. היינו 2 מבוגרים ושלושה ילדים והיה תענוג. הצטערנו שהגענו רק ללילה אחד... הצוות שפגשנו היה מקסים, כולם עזרו ודאגו לנו מכל הלב (למעט פקידת הקבלה שקיבלה את פנינו כשהגענו והיתה קצת אנטיפטית).. קצת חששתי מהמיקום, אבל רחוב 50 התגלה כרחוב מקסים, נעים מאוד והמיקום היה מצוין!!

cleanliness, windows aren't double pane and so it was noisy in the room

Location convenient yo both lower and upper East side; easy walk West as well. Very clean and a/c at 66 made fir hod sleeping. Even a tree outside the window!

Employees were not friendly. I had to carry my own 6 suitcases when checking in and checking out. Unbelievable for a hotel of this standard and employees are extremely slow to respond to requests

Location was great. Biggest advantage was the room size and facilities therein. Cleanliness was slightly low, however the room generally made up for it. We would definitely visit there again.

Location was great.

Our room was filthy. Toe nail clipping on the carpet, hair in the bathtub, smeared makeup handprints on the white wallpaper, broken towel hooks, broken mini fridge. We ended up being moved to another room which was cleaner than the first but not clean. Walls were dirty with splashes of some kind of liquid and carpets are just disgusting

Great size room, comfy beds, central location, close to subway.

Full price is held pending on arrival, hotel facilities are charged whether used or not (gym, pool, conference rooms etc. )

The kitchenette was the factor that swayed us to stay at your hotel. It was a nice sized room as well. The staff we interacted with were pleasant and helpful. The location was relatively central with good access to transportation. Housekeeping was spot on - on the days we requested it. It was a big help to be able to store luggage prior to check in as we arrived about 5 hours prior.

I have worked on hotel management for about 20 years ago my feedback might be more critical but please take it as that that - feedback, not criticism: 1. The gap under the front door is bigger than I've ever seen in other hotels. With NY's reputation for pests, there is no way to keep them out. 2. No screens on the windows - seems like a safety issue but again, it doesn't allow us to open the windows without worrying if pests would get in 3. The drain in the bathroom was detached - when trying to drain the water, the entire drain came off. 4. Light water pressure (the plus was that the water was hot) 5. Shower curtain smelled really bad and had to ask that it get replaced (which was done promptly) 6. No central on/off switch for lights - each lamp in the room needed to be turned on/off individually 7. Lamp shade on the desk had some kind of stain on it 8. No lighting the the kitchenette area. 9. I can understand the facilities fee but a "resort" fee in a city hotel?

Location was excellent

Room was so old, the hygiene level was low (there was accumulated dust in the fan). I expected much better room given the price I paid.

Romeo on the door was absolutely amazing and an absolute asset to Fifty Sonesta!

Upon arrival at check in the staff said the upgrade was complimentary then charged us anyway.

The management was helpful

Took 2 hours to get a box of tissues, no tv for last day and a half, arrangements for airport transfer was a disaster

Rooms were good size, the beds were "fine". The staff were really superb across the board, like they were genuinely invested in our being happy with our stay. We loved them and they deserve maximum praise. I have a very attenuated expectation of NYC hotels (whereas I have a very elevated expectation of the restaurants) so I wasn't looking for Shangri-La...but...

In the rooms (we had 2) the HVAC was annoying and uncontrollable. The hotel felt like it was a haphazard collection of dated, worn furniture from other previously hip places that had been thrown together to create someplace to stay while the "real hotel" is under construction up the block...which is apparently the case. The desks / side tables had plug points for power but the tables themselves were not plugged into the walls. I had to go through both rooms and move furniture to plug them in so we could get power. Not a tragedy, but something I shouldn't have had to do. The street noise was significant but that's NYC, NOT AT ALL a fault of the hotel...

room was super. Location very convenient, close to subway. did not try the breakfast, it was not even proposed by the staff. On 4 nights, Noises between 1 and 3am, people shouting in the corridor..

first contact at the desk was not super friendly, professional but did not help us a lot/did not advice us. noise on 2 nights and please wash the windows..
