Wer kein Problem damit hat, in einer Unterkunft zu schlafen die eher wie ein Hostel ist, wird beim Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis zufrieden sein. Ich hab mich nicht wohl gefühlt, da es > nur oberflächlich "sauber" war (Sanitärbereich war nicht sauber geputzt, die Möbel waren speckig, es waren Schamhaare auf dem Boden) > mein Bett war nicht frisch überzogen (es waren fremde Haare darauf) > das Zimmer schon deutlich sichtbar abgenutzt war (Dellen in den Wänden, Abnutzung des Stuhles) > das Haus so dicht zu anderen Häusern steht, dass ich die Vorhänge immer zu hatte damit die Nachbarn nicht reinschauen Achtung: diese Unterkunft ist nichts für Menschen die Schwierigkeiten mit Treppen oder schwerem Gepäck haben! Kein Aufzug!

The night we arrived, the neighbour had several visitors. She was very loud with her multiple guest throughout the night

We've stayed several times at this Inn and love it! It's in the historic downtown area and so convenient to the shopping and nightlife. There's parking in front of the Inn but if that's filled, there's a parking garage right across the street! We paid $6 for 12 hours! The room is lovely, clean, and comfortable and you can't beat the price!!

There's nothing we could have asked for that wasn't already there!

we were checking in late at night, it was cold and windy. I didn’t receive the email with the code, it was sent to booking.com but never got delivered to my email like the rest of the emails. I pushed the call button and told him I didn’t have the code. He said check your email and hung up before I could tell him I didn’t get the email. so I called again. he said I looked it was sent to Booking.com, I told him I booked online at home on my computer and didn’t have the login information on my phone. he came down and took my phone and scrolled through all my emails to make sure I wasn’t lying all while we stood outside in the cold. finally he let us in. the hallway also has a smell of diesel. it reminded me of being on a marine ferry.

The road parking in front of the Duckworth Inn is good. However, I don't know if they will close it for the summer to put the patio back. The location is very close to the Duke of Duckworth Bar which is perfect for us. We only have to go upstairs to sleep after.

The building and the room are ancient. It needs a little bit of renovation and fresh paint. Everytime we stayed there, seagulls woke us up every morning. Well, we can't do anything about that.
