Did not include meals and location was great but our event was in Halifax so quite a travel. The young girl at the front desk, when we checked in, was a lovely, friendly little girl. Very accommodating.

I did not like the gender neutral washrooms and showers. I am 70 years old and I felt uncomfortable with this arrangement. I was fortunate to find a single washroom on the first floor which I used for my stay.

It was very affordable and conveniently located.

No a/c just a fan and it was very hot! The mattress was very firm (think fitted sheet over plywood) and although I applaud being gender neutral for bathrooms and showers the logistics were awkward for us shy middle aged gals, especially for the showers. There was nowhere to hang your clothes where they would stay dry AND you didn't have to streak into the gender neutral main room of the showers 😒.

There was no brrakfast

It was so hot when we were there. No air conditioning. Only one little fan in our room.The window only opened about a foot.I asked for another fan one but there were no extras. I felt uncomfortable using the coed bathroom.

We were not happy to find out that the shared washrooms and showers were shared by both men and women. Maybe old fashioned, by didn’t seem appropriate.
