The location is close to the train station and you can arrange for them to pick you up with your bags. The restaurant is both good and reasonably priced for dinner, compared to others in town so even if you are staying somewhere else in town it's worth a visit. The staff was very helpful and welcoming, and flexible with our early arrival. They asked if we needed suggestions for tours and I'm sure would have been happy to assist in that if we'd needed it. They also provided excellent communication prior to our arrival.

We visited Churchill during the "shoulder" time of year so this review might not reflect how the hotel operates and experiences travelers might have during summer or during peak polar bear viewing season. My understanding is that in polar bear viewing season, it's a tourist/travelers hotel. The hotel guests largely consisted of workers who were repairing the railroad tracks. On the plus side, this made it very quiet -- these guys were *not* tourists making a rukkus. But, the breakfast buffet was really centered around the workers so it was *early*. The rooms were occupied, but I only saw one other couple there during my stay; the only other women were the hotel/restaurant staff. I never felt unsafe, but it was just a bit unexpected. It was interesting, actually, to hear the interactions of these working guys -- a window into a different experience of the area. The bedroom was good sized, clean and quiet although one of the beds was super noisy/squeaky. If you're heading to Churchill and you are on a tight budget, this is a place to consider.

It was really beautiful clean room.sad part most of the stores and restaurants were closed. The museum was excellent.

Bed was a little soft but comfortable.

A great place to stay, ideally situated close to the railway station and the centre of town. Friendly staff; we were met at the station by Koral, the owner, and given an orientation tour of the town before being taken to the hotel.

All good. We appreciated being able to use the lounge on our last day after checking out.

Koral was an amazing hostess and a fount of information about Churchill and the area. Although we switched to a tour destination, the Churchill Hotel felt like home.

The bed was a little too soft for us.

reasonable price for the location. rooms a decent size with fridge and microwave. clean, and the cleaner was great and friendly. the hotel isn’t posh but you don’t travel to Churchill to sit in your hotel room!! beds are clean and comfy which is all you need. the main reason we rate this place so highly is the staff. they couldn’t do more to help you. Koral is an incredible host and guide and made our stay all the more special. she even took collected us from and took us to the airport. would absolutely stay here again and would recommend.

nothing really it was fine!

The location is perfect, just in front of the grocery store and close to the pub and every other attraction in Churchill. The room was spacious and the bathroom had a very nice bath. The WiFi worked well.

Out of 4 days I stayed there, the room was only cleaned once. For the rest of my stay the towels were not changed, the bed was not made, coffee not provided, room not vacuumed. Nobody was at the front desk ever. Plus, the walls are so thin that I could not sleep on my last night since I could hear a guy snoring all night in the other room.

The room was perfect for our needs and we really appreciated having the fridge to store food etc. as we didn't want to have to eat out all the time. The bed was a good size particularly as my partner is very tall. The room was spacious and we had plenty of room to spread out during our stay. We also really appreciated the laundry facilities. The staff were very pleasant and helpful at all times. Not that Churchill is very big, but the hotel is extremely well located and close to a supermarket and to the Sea North office and the Tundra bar/restaurant, all of which we used quite a bit. A really nice touch was that John picked us up from the train station when we arrived and took us for a little orientation tour around town before dropping us off at the hotel. Finally I would say that this hotel offers great value for money in a town that is not particularly cheap.

I don't think there was anything that we didn't like. I think the Churchill hotel is a great place to stay.

The staff were amazing, met me at the train station and gave me a free tour of the town before my check in. Kept in touch during my stay, gave some tips of things to do and places to see, and allowed me to stay in the room past check in until my train was leaving later in the evening. Ideal location, very clean and comfortable, would recommend to anyone.

The owners and staff were great! Because of train issues, we were stuck in Churchill for a couple extra days. The owners found us a room for the extra two nights and couldn't do more to make sure we were looked after. The hotel is in a great location, easy walking to everything.

The only complaint we have is that the restaurant isn't open for lunch but there are lunch options within easy walking distance,

The staff are absolutely fantastic at the hotel and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs after arriving 24 houts late due to a flight delay and missing 2 connections.

Big room. 2 queen beds. Late check-out without fee (as there were no incomming guests). Good food in the bar.

Couldn't rent a car. Poor contact with John (don't answers the phone)

Brilliant stay here and the staff are so friendly. i arrived on the train and was able to check in early and then when leaving, I was also allowed to keep my room all day until the evening, which was so handy!
