The convenience of the location is incomparable. Drive-up
Our room reeked of cigarettes despite being nonsmoking. Every evening we could smell cigarettes for a moment before that smell was replaced with intensely strong cologne. The ventilation in the rooms is awful, and when the smoking and non-smoking rooms are apparently connected, it cannot afford to be. I have asthma and scent sensitivity. Make it make sense!

Old smelly room not well cleaned the bed sheets are yellow smells of cigarettes need a refreshing in the worst possible way.

that it was in a good area! and the staff was friendly
our room stunk like cigarettes to the point we had to go by stuff to spray. bed sheets were stained, and there was dirt in the bathroom sink.

The bathroom seems to have been updated recently and is bright and clean.
The rest of the room is quite run down and the covers are quite old with a bit of odour. Not the worst I have seen but considered there were cheaper rooms just down the road closer to the highway.

Made sure I got my information right.
I didn't have towels in the bathroom and the TV wasn't working plus there was no garage bins in the room. The floors were very sticky didnt like the smell. I didn't take any photos during my stay which I should of done it but i know next time to do it.

Staff were very pleasant and the location was great for my needs
Number one was the mouse poop in my bathtub and sink. The moldy grout around the bathtub and padded toilet seat that doesn’t clean well and window curtains that covered the air conditioner

There was no internet ,no coffee maker ,old decor empty chip bags in drawer dryer sheets in bedding

The personnel running the motel were very polite and helpful.

The restaurant that was attached to the motel was good. The motel clerk was excellent.
The rooms were dingy and the carpet was stained..definitely needs a remodel and new furniture.

Size of the room works great with 3 beds I'm family room. On-site restaurant and lots of parking
Only concern was light didn't work in bathroom, we improvised with a lamp but prolly should be checked before the room is booked out

I was traveling solo on snowmobile so trail didn't go to the place but other than that I had no issues. Restaurant on site was good and handy.
Snowmobile trail access would bring them more business!

The location and proximity to the bridge made it super convenient. It was easy to find and check in was a breeze. It was also really nice to be able to back in to a parking space right in front of the room door to unload bags.
The place is definitely not modern, but I knew that when booking, and to be fair, it was quaint. We didn't pay ritz prices, so we were not expecting ritz accommodations. It was a safe clean place at an affordable rate to rest our heads. As a note about staying in Borden-Carlton - nothing is open much later than 7/8 for food options, so if you arrive late be prepared to order pizza.

the girl at the desk was the friendliest person in the world and very helpful. there is also a restaurant attached to the hotel which is open till about 7:00 or 8:00. I found the bed very very comfortable and the TV was good and the air conditioning was good
