Balcony with full garden plus ocean peak a view were great. Walking distance to trails to ocean. Breakfast options were plentiful and delicious. Host Stacey was super helpful and so kind. The robes were a bonus especially used to sit on the balcony in the morning or evening. Everything was clean and delightful. Location was perfect. Wine hour in the evening was a nice bonus.

Not enough sound proofing in the room. Room above us was very noisy and coffee machine in the hallway woke us up in the middle of the night.

breakfast service is good, options limited but they bring it to you so it’s like a B&B. it’s renovated. the lobby is nice. proximity to restaurants is good (but you have to drive). happy hour is a nice touch as are the warm baked cookies. it’s really private and exclusive. reminds me of staying in an Irish or British private castle or estate for the weekend. parking was good. if you’re in the private suite you’ll need a special key to get access to the main guesthouse where the amenities are. kitchen in the suite is well equipped but byo your spices, oils, etc.

not particularly child friendly. coast access was closed but no notification. during our stay there was some massive construction above our private unit. we stayed for the whole weekend and there was construction going on above and a crane parked in front of a bedroom window that beeped a lot and eventually got stuck and malfunctioned. would have been nice to have a heads up. the 2 bedroom suite (which is quite pricey) doesn’t have a soak tub just shower and there’s only one bathroom).

Nice rooms, comfortable beds, and really great service.

Would have preferred a buffet for breakfast rather than having to pick choices the day before.

The Seal Cove Inn is located in such a dreamy location. We've been there twice in the winter when its foggy or rainy, and it's always magical. The inn is comfortable, clean and cozy. We spent time reading in front of the fireplace, in the garden and walking around the nature preserve towards the coast. The breakfast is lovely too, quality and simple. We had the eggs, ham and baked good both days and yogurt one of the days. There is also an espresso machine and tea bar downstairs for use anytime you like, and complimentary beverages upstairs.

the property is extremely cute and the staff was beyond exceptional! everyone is so kind and the breakfast was adorable. love this place!

The heater in our room was really loud and blew way too much air. This was our only complaint.

The place was cozy and the walking trails right off the property were GORGEOUS 😍

The breakfast was continental, wish it were a warm breakfast.

it seems that this hotel only serves wine between 5 and 6 pm. which given its location ( not close to bars or restaurants particularly) was a bit disappointing as we would have enjoyed a drink a bit later and - would happy have paid - explanations of their services in frat detail on arrival whilst useful are a bit too time consuming after a long journey - this is a hotel which should be country house standard but doesn’t quite make it.
