The internet was abysmal. As a remote worker, I struggled to stay productive because the office's internet connection kept dropping. Resorting to tethering from my phone was my only option, but as an international worker, it quickly depleted my data allowance. When I reached out for assistance, I was informed that resetting the router wasn't possible, but my complaint was acknowledged, which meant nothing!

This hotel in Las Vegas is one of those classic, older properties but absolutely fantastic. Shaped like a pyramid, it's one of the most unique and creative hotels I've encountered. We were so lucky to have chosen it for our stay. Firstly, the rooms have angled windows matching the pyramid shape, which is quite a quirky feature. Secondly, the hotel embraces an Egyptian theme, which added a fun and exotic flair to our experience.
The ground floor is immense and hosts various installations in the main lobby, reminiscent of the internal sides of a pyramid, where you can look down from the balcony-like levels of the hotel floors. This layout allows guests, including ourselves, to gaze from their respective heights down to the base of the pyramid, and that creates such a stunning visual! Also, in this grand lobby, you’ll find numerous bars and a restaurant, alongside a vast casino area — typical for Las Vegas but still impressive.
Each installation is thematic; one resembles the Titanic with an exhibition dedicated to it, another is a replica of a mummy of an Egyptian pharaoh, and yet another represents New York City, shaped like its skyscrapers and housing a concert hall. This venue hosts a famous erotic burlesque show every evening, which we attended and thoroughly enjoyed.
However, the check-in process was somewhat tedious due to only two or three attendants available at about twenty desks, leading to long queues. In contrast, the check-out process was effortless, as it could be done remotely via mobile or even through the TV in our room, allowing for a hassle-free departure.

Fun theming, cheap option
The aircon is - at best - unreliable.
The ‘inclinators’ that are in place of elevators need to be condemned. Waiting 20 minutes to have a loud and bumpy ride down to the lobby is not a good way to start your morning.

Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms.
You could hear faint noise from the casino in the night but it’s not too disturbing. You can tell it needs a little bit of an uplift with carpet and little faded and elevators having their wrapping peeled off. Would have been good if there was tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

The in-person staff was great, the areas were clean and well maintained. The room was very nice and beds were comfy. The Diablos restaurant was wonderful and their staff was great.
Our room was a more expensive room and had not even a tiny refrigerator for our dinner leftovers. The buffet wasn’t open at all and the cafe was only breakfast and lunch. The wifi at the hotel wouldn’t allow me to check in or check out on your app, so we waited more than hour to check in at 6pm which seemed excessive.

The room was perfect for my husband and I. The bed was comfortable. Overall, the room felt clean. We liked that the hotel was at the end of the strip.
There was a blood spot on one of our pillows and a pile of toe nail clippings on the carpet in the room. However, upon calling housekeeping they were eager to take care of the situation and did so pretty quickly. The paint in the bathroom was also peeling off the walls.

was able to check out late for $20. The walk to welcome to the fabulous Vegas sign, was only 10 minute away. Close to airport.
The walk from taxi to check in was a mile walk with luggages! Check in line was very long.
Luxor is very beautiful from outside but it’s very dark inside.
No microwave, fridge, water. No breakfast, coffee. I noticed dust on lamps and tables.
There is no cleaning service. We didn’t get our room cleaned.
Really expensive to buy anything inside. Water bottle, $6. Places to eat are also expensive. I guess everything on the strip is expensive. Our water got turned off one night into the morning, both cold and hot. Water was very dirty (see pic.)
This resort is kinda far from other main strip attractions. Not walkable, you will have to uber everywhere (if you don’t have a car)
Uber designation is set at certain area, so you will always have to go there to meet your uber. (This is everywhere on the strip)
Will not stay here again.

The shower had hairs and asked for it to be cleaned again but when I went to check I still seen hair in it .
My friend cleaned it herself

Room was very comfortable and spacious for a family of 4.
Location was excellent, right on the strip. The casino floor was a little lacking however, but still a great experience.
Didn’t like that a lot of escelators were broken or needed maintenance or the extremely long check in line.

Rund um zufrieden.
Unnötiger Zimmertausch.
Das sollte man als Hotel vorher wissen.
Zudem zwei mal Reinigung gegen 9 Uhr ins Zimmer.
Kissen sehr unbequem.

My plane was delayed by a day and a half and when i arrived to check in, i was told my room was given away. Even though I rang and explained the situation on the day my original flight was cancelled, to which i was told it would be fine and my room will be heald for me. I was also charged for the first night (which was refunded eventually). But it was really inconvenient and frustrating when i arrived at the hotel to check in at 11pm to find out our room was given away. The rooms were all sold out and there was no availability at the other MGM resorts. All i was offered was a refund of the first night and a $50 bar credit. Was extremely disappointed

I liked the exhibitions inside the casino
the rooms are dirty and really need updating. you think you stay in the pyramid but must walk for 5 minutes to reach your room in another part of the building. it’s a long way to drag your stuff and no help offered. US border control has a shorter queue than the check in queue for this hotel ! vending machine broken and $8 a bottle downstairs for water. no flex on check out time

Location
When we arrived at the hotel to check in at 10 PM we were told her room was not ready yet 10 minutes later while we were still on the phone with them, they came back and told us that they were moving us to another room. I had reserved a room in the pyramid, pacifically a king size room for me, and my wife they moved us to a tower roomwith twin queens when we got to the room, the TV did not work and then on our third day we found bedbugs so it was an awful stay would not recommend it We contacted the hotel about the situation, and they refused to do anything about it booking has been excellent, and trying to help us resolve the situation but the hotel has not responded to them or us.

Location was close to Allegiant Stadium which was the reason we were in town. Room key doubles as car park pass which was really convenient.
The hotel is old and tired. Needs a significant refurb and update.
Ask for a room close to the elevator or get ready for a long walk up and down the corridor each time.
Not enough sign posts in the hotel to help you navigate. The car park is a hell of walk so best bet is to drop your bags at the front door and then go and park the car before collecting your bags to check in.
Huge line ups everywhere no matter what you want; check in or check out, food, drinks, bathrooms, elevators - you will always be lining up for something here.
There are no fridges in your room. You can rent one but for a hotel on the Vegas strip not to have a fridge is ridiculous - so no cold water when you wake up the afternoon after the night before when you have the dry horrors which is the way I found out.
Charges took a long time to clear on credit card after check out including the very healthy security deposit which was annoying.

Room in decent enough shape when clean. Location good.
Room we were given was not cleaned. Had to wait about another hour before we got keys to another room. No apologies whatsoever from staff about assigning us dirty room in the first place and making us wait for new keys, in addition to the hour already spent in line checking in. Self parking quite a walk. No shampoo in room.
Will not stay at this property again. Very poorly managed.

Prices while there were extreme.
75% of staff were so ignorant and unwelcoming.
Would not recommend it.

Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. We also attended 2 of the attractions they had in the Luxor - The Titanic exhibition was great, and the Bodies exhibition - which was oddly fascinating.
It was also just a short walk over to Mandalay Bay where we did the aquarium, great Irish bar and Cirque du Solei (Michael Jackson theme) which was my favourite!!
We were there for the NRL football, so it was very close to Allegiant Stadium.
We complained about noise first thing of a morning. We had paid extra for an upgrade only to have maintenance staff cleaning and pulling some sort of coating off the windows 2 days in a row at 8am. It was very loud and they were shouting out to each other, singing etc. When we complained to desk, they refused to remove the upgrade fee (even for the 2 days in question) and said our only option was to move rooms, with no guarantee we wouldn't have same issue.

Good location for the event I was attending.
Not enough staff at the front desk. Waited for 20 minutes in line to ask for a late checkout. Was told they were fully booked and couldn’t offer me a late checkout. I then went online and found that they weren’t fully booked. I booked an entire extra night, costing $132. Much more than the $10 late checkout fee.

The location for sporting games at Allegiant Stadium, was wonderful. Perfect space in the room, facilities were good and plenty of food options also.
The lifts seemed to be very far away considering our rooms were directly above where we were entering, but had to walk through the entire casino, lobby, and restaurant to access.

Also wieder alles zurück. Nochmal neue Karten bekommen.
