Good breakfast, nice staff

Good location good price

Housekeeping opened my door twice in the morning after only knocking once very rude. They should be notified when people check out so that doesn’t happen

I liked the large tv and selection of stations. Hotel was kept clean. The hot breakfast entree was scrambled eggs and sausage 2 of 3 mornings. Breakfast area was well stocked with a nice variety of foods, including fresh fruit. Waffle makers were available. Breakfast ended later (10:30 a.m. on weekend mornings, which was nice.

One day the breakfast entree was bean & sausage burritos and potatoes. I didn't care for either. The heat in our room wasn't constant, but needed adjustment frequently.

The staff members were wonderful! The front desk staff brought extra blankets and towels to my room. Breakfast had a variety of foods, both hot and cold. The server kept most items refilled, (except for the foods that they ran out of). Hand sanitizer was available near the dining area. TV had may great stations options to chose from. I noticed a walking trail nearby, but didn't actually try it out.

One night I could hear people jumping around on the floor in the room above mine and slamming the exit door near my room until about midnight. This noise kept me awake. The next morning I was looking forward to breakfast with sausage and eggs, but they ran out of sausage before breakfast was over. I stayed 2 more nights, but they still didn't have sausage. The next day, they ran out of milk about 45 min. before the end of the breakfast time. My bed creaked when I moved or rolled over. The mattress was funky with little plushness to it. The bathroom had several long black hairs on the floor and also muddy footprints. It was obvious the floor hasn't been cleaned well or maybe not at all.

Having to pay a pet fee, when our dog is kenneled all the time

They take a $25/day deposit,even on a credit card transaction,then you have to wait 3-5 business days to get it back.none of their paperwork shows the deposit at all,in my case ,they took $50

For us it was a convenient location to visit friends in Madison, hotel met our expectations. Some bars around the corner.

Unstable Wifi, breakfast hard to swallow for Europeans, fresh fruits were rationed.
