Beautiful historic hotel rooms were very clean. Great dinner in the restaurant next door.

The pipes in the ceiling of the room rattled most of the night. The breakfast room was beautiful but there was dust on the plates and in the cups.

All and all the stay was very satisfactory.

Beautiful breakfast bar. Friendly helpful staff. Clean room and bathroom.

No sausage or some kind of meat on the breakfast bar and having no scrambled eggs. I don't like green boiled eggs.

We always stay at the Chestnut Hill Hotel when in Philadelphia.

Lovely building, friendly staff, excellent breakfast included all in a great location.

Price increases ( though understandable in the current economy ) are a bit problematic.

It was fair with the potential of being much better. I never leave negative reviews and I’m sorry this was necessary.

The room was comfortable and in a great location, surrounded by restaurants and a brewery. The kitchenette with a nespresso coffee was great.

The sheets on one of the beds had a stain. The bathroom sink and tub both didn’t drain. Nowhere did it state that the accommodations where in an annex building (The Post Office) without an elevator and a full flight of stairs. I reported this to the front desk when I checked out. I was advised they would tell the manager and did not receive a response.

The area was absolutely beautiful! Everything you need within walking distance. The hotel itself was also very beautiful.

The complimentary breakfast could use some work. Expired creamer pods and expired (had chunks!!) half and half. Only wanted coffee and couldn't even get that.

We heard that the next day there was a problem with my niece’s wedding dress being taken from her room after she accidentally left it there, and management downplayed the whole situation so it’s probably not best if I give a review.

Clean, quaint, charming hotel in hip neighborhood, lots to do, close to downtown and amazing staff!

The staff were absolutely amazing. So friendly and helpful and client focused. Ritz Carlton level staff in a quaint and charming boutique hotel. Complimentary parking and breakfast and very pet friendly with a reasonable charge for pet.

WiFi was very slow. Otherwise it was a perfect experience.
