Location
The moldy smell as soon as you walk in only to see mold on ceiling above jacuzzi tub that’s so neglected and doesn’t hold water very well anymore. The hand towels that looked like they had been used by previous guests. I have stayed here a couple of times and it’s never been bad. But this looked like a run down motel. My wife and I were out for our anniversary

The convenience to the Sports Center next door was the selling point for us. We enjoyed the bar in the evenings.
Our bed was awful. It was broken in and we rolled to the middle.

The bed was comfortable, the sheets looked clean. The location was decent. The price.... was decent but now I'm not surprised why.
I did like the extra security feature for the door (felt solid while some seem flimsy), and that you could block the peep hole by opening the bathroom door.
Ran the spa tub before I actually got in - thank goodness because it put some bugs into the bathtub (not too surprised since all spa tubs occasionally have this happen).
The room above me had an overflow issue and water came rushing through the ceiling! When I called to report it, all I got asked was "do you want some more towels?" ...... yes, since I just used all of mine to clean this up? (No offer of switching rooms or anything else)
They need dehumidifiers in the rooms since the tubs are right there and it made the room musty.
And half of the towels and one pillow case still had makeup stains on them. I would not return.

The hotel was clean and the full breakfast is amazing!!! The rooms were nice and the beds we great they weren't to soft or too firm. The staff was amazing, as someone who works in customer service I do have some expectations.
I don't have anything negative to say about the staff or the rooms. The only "negative" things was that breakfast was over at 9 am. So to me that's just super early most people wake up at 8 or 9 to be ready to check out by 11.

The staff was friendly for the most part. The room was vary clean when we got there and the breakfast was good.
From below: an extra $80 in hotel fees at another hotel. We should be re-reimbursed for that and the inconvenience they created with false information and no information!
First was that the listed information by booking was wrong. They said breakfast was from 7:30 to 10:30 daily. we found out Monday morning that breakfast ended at 9:30 on week days. As a result we had to go out for breakfast; an unexpected and fraudulent expense on us because booking can't properly list information. Then the desk person told me it is listed at the counter (laying flat between the first and second station at the front desk). Problem is it was taped between the first and second counter and the desk attendant was always at the third station so it was not possible to see. I was also told that it was taped on the elevator walls; it was not; so they didn't mind lying to us to get out of a pickle. I will mention that in the past hotels always posted on the door inside the room all the policies of the hotel and on our trip (our honeymoon) in all three hotels we stayed at; not one listed anywhere hotel policies.
We cut our stay short because on the third day, we took off the do not disturb sign so they'd clean the room. We even left for 5-6 hours to give them plenty of time to do so. When we returned the room was not touched. I asked and was told that they only clean rooms upon request; again a new policy that was never posted by booking or stated in the hotel policy because they don't post them anymore. I guess we are supposed to read their minds or something.
I see these problems both on the shoulders of the booking agencies (I have found them constantly to have wrong information posted) with photos so poorly taken that most of the time one cannot tell the lay out of the room; no policies are clearly in the hotels and when the booking agencies list information; most likely it was incorrect. Yet we make decisions on this false information and they wonder why we want our money back. Ir should go further than that. When they create false info and it costs us money in the end; we should be reimbursed for it.

The carpet in the room is the only thing I saw that needed removed it was sticky to walk on, but the room was clean

Room smelled like mildew, A/C didn’t blow cold, and the mini fridge stunk. There was a square price of carpet in the center of the room that had been replaced and looked dingy. Would have thought they would have changed all the carpet in the room instead of doing that.
