Deposit amount taken for the stay. Stayed in many apartments until now but never paid deposit.

The quality of all the furniture and equipment was excellent. The wifi and heating functioned well
The flat is only 5 minutes away from tram and buses in one direction and the Dom in the other
I prefer to have a microwave, but many German kitchens don't have one and this appartement has a superb cooker with full sized oven and responsive electric hob, so this is only a small comment about a personal preference

Good and quiet location, modern apartment, comfortable bed, friendly owner. The apartment was very clean and nice looking!
Make sure you have an extra 500€ on your account for the deposit, as you will get access to these again only a few days after your stay.

Olaf is wonderful to work with: friendly, accommodating, and prompt in reply to any questions or concerns. Central location within easy walking distance to the city centre. Amazing restaurants nearby. Apartment itself was bright and clean. All basic amenities that you need are included. Olaf even made sure we had coffee for our mornings. We were in town during a heat wave and the apartment managed to stay cool. We stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed our time in Braunschweig.
Regarding the parking others have spoken about. The parking adjacent to the storefront downstairs is free from 6pm-8am. Other times it is for residents only. However, within 100m and on the same block, there is pay parking available for a small fee as well as a larger parking lot for longer term. This seems standard in the downtown area.

Outstanding location - we absolutely loved walking everywhere, it is just few minutes from center of town where you can find variety of shops and restaurants! The building is located right across the street from beautiful St. Petri church so you can enjoy its' views. The apartment is very clean, and beautifully prepared for your stay with everything you might need. The host is very responsive and helpful. We are very happy with our stay - would give more stars if we could!

Nice appartment in good location,
I emailed to the host regarding parking a long time before my stay - the response was that there was normally street parking available outside or near the property - what he did not tell me was that this parking was Only Legal after 4pm until 8am the next morning. His response when I arrived was that I would probably " get away with parking illegally " or I could use one of the car parks which were a long way away, bearing in mind I had told him that we were elderly and my wife has a walking disability.
