Tasty breakfast, friendly staff, great gym. We were there Easter weekend and they had a bouncy house and Easter egg hunt for the kids. Awesome!
Gym hours started at 6 am. I like to start earlier.

Close to where we wanted to be.
Too much loitering around of people outside, many large semi trucks took up parking spaces for guests. Electronic entry way from side doors broken, not functioning.

The room was clean. Convenient location.
I was highly disappointed with my two recent stays. I am really surprised that it has a high rating. The front desk attendants were so unfriendly and discourteous. Don't expect to be treated with respect. Wifi signal is ridiculously weak. The "Free Hot Breakfast" contains only scrambled eggs. It is not worth the price.

We traveled to Valparaiso to be with my son around Christmas. We're a family of 4 (2 adult kids). We found the County Inn to be of exceptional value. It is a family owned business and you can tell love is put into hiring of the staff and care of the property. The best surprise was the incredible hot breakfast every morning. Any day that starts with biscuits and gravy is a GOOD day! Microwave/Refrigerator in our room, hot tub/pool, nice work out room all made our stay very comfortable. Our room and common areas were kept very clean. My daughter teaches on line and the wifi was sufficient to do that. We highly recommend staying here.

I loved the area due to it being near retail stores.
I would've appreciated it if there were protein [sausage links, sausage patties, or bacon] added to the breakfast menu. This would definitely serve as an added plus. [Brown & serve] sausages are very economically convenient.

Location is great, super convenient to Valpo. Breakfast was very good. Fresh and well managed. Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
This is still an older hotel and it shows. Rooms are dated (metal door frames and rust, chipped paint, scuffs and marks on the walls, carpet stains, etc). The breakfast and the staff are what keep this hotel preferred over the competition in the area. They put their best efforts forward and it shows. Price is still high for what you get, but this whole area is a bit overpriced due to the proximity to the university so although expensive, they are in range with the others.
