The price was about the only thing going for this property. Based on the reviews I thought I might be okay but I would not book again.

The entire building smelled like an ashtray. I had to keep my bathroom fan running at all times to reduce the smell that was emanating through the vent. The continental breakfast was nearly non-existent and one day I grabbed a yogurt that turned out to be expired. The room had some updates like flooring and tile in the shower, but the bed was extremely uncomfortable and would slide across the floor if you didn't carefully sit on it. The parking lot was tight. There is no elevator to the second floor so if you have trouble with stairs be sure to request the first floor. I only received housekeeping one of the three days I was there, and they didn't even make the bed. The staff was polite.

Location for our needs and price.

Old, run down and smelled like smoke in our non smoking room. The first morning they had no milk at breakfast so my daughter had cereal with WATER. We were only in town a short period for the USAW Youth Nationals so we didn’t have a car. The next day she woke up a little late and asked if there was any milk left (we had our own cereal) and they refused because breakfast was closed. Ok sure it was past time, but we weren’t asking for a full breakfast, just some milk since they DIDN’T HAVE ANY THE DAY BEFORE. I will say DJ was nice when we checked in and was super accommodating. That was the end of the positives.

The staff was friendly and professional.

While our room was clean, the furniture was worn and in disrepair.

It’s relatively cheap.

It’s noisy due to the busy road.

Really enjoyed our short stay, friendly helpful staff and easy check in process. The area was close to the highway and had fast access to all over Colorado Springs.

Maybe if they had an indoor pool to go with this cold weather :)
