Paid for king suite walk in shower sofa and got stuck in queen double tub and no discount never stay at best Western again

Was pretty clean and right off the interstate so convenient for a baseball tournament going in different directions.

I removed my do not disturb sign the last 4 days but my room was never cleaned. Also the elevator is in serious need of repair. Going up the third and fourth floor it jumps up and down and acts like you’re going to be trapped.

the AC in the room wasn’t working properly. even with it turned down all the way I couldn’t cool off the room to satisfaction. but, the rest of the staff and my stay was so positive I hardly noticed.

a good location for getting to other places. our rooms was large as I had booked. easy parking. staff was polite. plenty of good pillows

they need to clean the carpet in our room. it had large dirty spots. i understand short staff but you can get the carpet cleaned by another company in the worse rooms. it really turned me off to an otherwise nice hotel.

The room not cleaned well. The carpet on the floors were dirty stained, smelled, dirt and trash on floors not vacuumed especially behind the beds and under the beds, behind the TV stand and under the desk. One outlet in the bathroom was partially out of the one unsafe for use.

We were there 23rd thru 26th dec. The breakfast was just the bare minimum for the 3days

The location is convenient and a relatively close drive to downtown Greenville, however be mindful that there is a lot of cross traffic to get in/out of the location with no traffic light. They offer breakfast and have more options available than most other chains. Staff was friendly and accomodating.

The initial room I had been booked in was infested with roaches. After immediately entering the room, I found roaches moving around in the bathroom and running behind the bathroom tiles, they were even near the beds on the walls. This place was well reviewed so I was very caught off guard. I had never had this issue at even some of the more questionable hotel/motels I've been to, and I travel frequently. Fortunately staff was accommodating and immediately moved me to a different room/floor altogether and the bug problem was ended.. However, the 2nd room had visible signs that it had not been cleaned thoroughly from the prior guests. There was popcorn, chocolate chips, and other foods in the carpet, old wrappers, and the room in general was unkempt/dated. This was still doable compared to the 1st room all things considered, and it was too late to change my booking and find another location given the timing. However this hotel really needs to re-evaluate their cleanliness and staff protocol going forward to prevent more problems (and pests) down the line.
