Pool area is very nice. Quiet.

Rooms aren’t cleaned daily. Cleaning is once every 3 days. Breakfast at restaurant next door was awful. Coffee in lobby was always empty.

three odd situations: 1. I booked the hotel the morning we would be checking in and indicated we would be there late; I received a call in the evening asking if we still planned to come and what time 2. when we checked in our room was freezing cold - the heat wasn’t on! and the window to our room wasn’t locked and couldn’t lock (the latch and the window wouldn’t line up) (which was unsettling) 3. at 5:45 am, the lock on our room jiggled, which woke me up, and then someone actually opened the room door! thankfully the safety lock was on so the door didn’t open all the way but it was frightening! and woke both my kids up. I have NEVER had that type of a situation! I called down to the front desk and the younger guy that checked us in said it was him - that someone had checked out and he was supposed to be going into that room but had gone into the wrong room! Two other oddities were that our toilet was clogged so I had to ask for a plunger and when I had gotten out of our car, I cut my finger pretty badly, and couldn’t find the bathroom near the pool to wash it off. I did appreciate that the front desk had bandages, however, because I was bleeding pretty badly.

The room was a good size and clean.

The pool area was an absolute nightmare.The atrium pool is the reason I booked this place. I never got to use it.There were three large parties with food on all the tables, massive amounts of kids running and jumping in the pool, the hot tub was full of kids as well. A lot of the parents were drunk. There wasn't even a corner of the pool to hang out in. No available chairs. No available towels. The area was beyond capacity and there is no way all those people were staying at the hotel. Don't waste your money on that pool. Unless you want kids jumping on you, you'll never get a chance to use it. This was a huge waste of money. There has to be a better place to stay.

Great location. The bar/restaurant that is attached has amazing food. I think they were a little under staffed when we were there. Good pool area.

Too many birthday parties happening in the pool area. Way way way too many unsupervised children in the pool. Children filling up the hot tub. No one was following any of the pool rules and no one was inforcing them. As a paying adult I was not able to use the pool area. The room was freezing when we arrived. There was no heat on. There was not a constant fan option on the thermostat which was disappointing. Kids running up and down the hallways.

I remember staying at this hotel as a kid 30+ years and it is the same. although a different name now. My family and I have always enjoyed the salt water pool and the size of the pool area.

I don’t like how they switched to $5 only at the restaurant for breakfast and not a continental breakfast. The food at the restaurant is ok, but if I have to pay extra I would rather go to another restaurant with better quality food.
