I did not stay because it was in a dangerous area.

I had my 5 year old, my senior mother, and my dog. there was no sign on the property showing it’s stay so I circled around the back. It was a dangerous area with lots of people roaming around. I didn’t feel safe to stay especially taking my dog out at night & attempted to cancel. they have not reached out to me or booking.com. I am also upset booking hasn’t helped. We did not stay and booked directly with another hotel in a safer part of town.

Finding the place was a debacle! The signage from the road is awful! At checkin we were told to check the TV first because people were having issues with their remotes. We checked it and it wasn’t working right so we called. Maintenance staff came up, no name tag or ID indicating he worked there. Still didn’t work when he left. Oh, well. Then around 8:30, it started getting really loud at the pool. I figured, it’s fine, it closes at 10:00, whatever. Nope. It was after midnight before it quieted down. In the morning, the water pressure in the shower was lacking but it worked well enough. Nice property but wouldn’t recommend if you want to get to sleep at a reasonable hour.

Staff were very friendly & helpful, room was very clean & a generous size. The breakfast was adequate.

Hard to Find as no signage - There was no signage on the road for the motel & the motel is set quite a way back off the road, behind a conference center. Our satellite navigator took us to an abandoned motel (which turned out to almost next door to the Avalon Motel) & we then drove down the road & sought directions from another motel (who were happy to assist)

That it was a place to stay

The pictures online are completely misleading and there isn’t any signage at all for the hotel. I wasn’t even sure if I was in the right place because of how different it looked.

Breakfast was typical of most hotel food. Frozen items thawed and needing to be microwaved.

Great night's stay. Very positive check-in, large room, free streaming TV and tasty breakfast.

It looks nothing like the picture it is under construction and the pools and Jacuzzis were filled in with rocks it was just yucky looking
