I love how friendly and helpful the staff is here. Everyone is so kind and treat you nicely. The rooms are big and very comfortable, location is great for food just a lot of traffic.
Didn’t like how congested the area is with traffic.

Was at hospital with friend until real late. Did not get checked in until after midnight. Was awakened early by health department inspection for bed bugs. Scottish inn was shut down by the health department. Asked for a refund because we had to leave. Was told by management there would be no refund and that I could go get a lawyer very rudely. Called corporate, still no refund. Was told to dispute with my credit card company. However, I used my debit card and can not dispute the charges

One of the owners (a woman) extremely rude, pushy, not understanding and if you don't pay on time she will put your belongings outside!
Nick is one of the best and most understanding person I have ever met!

It smelled like cigarettes, the washcloth had hair on it, the the carpet on the base of the wall was peeling back, the chair in the room was broken. I didn't even want to sit on the bed. I had to plug in the lamp to even have any light in the room when I walked in. Very poor experience, we just stopped to shower and take a quick nap, but only showered though the water pressure was very low and I didn't feel clean leaving the room. It was cheap and I guess you get what you pay for

Nothing except the location. That being said, many popular hotels were along the same road so it is a popular location for stay.
Mine was a breakfast-included booking. During check-in, I saw a note saying they're not providing breakfast due to covid. There was absolutely no mention of this before check-in and it was one of my priorities, so it felt like a bummer. When asked, the stuff said they'll partially refund me. Later at check-out time, no one was in the lobby. I rang the bell 30 straight minutes, there was no answer. There was just one housekeeping guy walking around. I left a note with him with my number and checked out. I was travelling around Savannah that day, but did not go too far. At evening, having received no call or text, we decided to go to the hotel again. This time we found the stuff guy, but he was nothing like the day before. He started behaving extremely rude, he also admitted he got my note and chose not to reply. I asked him about my refund, he said "Call booking.com, I'll pay them, you'll get your refund from them." When I insisted that booking.com is only the mediator and not the payment manager in the deal between me and the hotel, the guy repeatedly closed the lobby door on my face, I had to knock on the door again to get him out, He then said "he's just an employee" but he also denied to get me to talk to the manager or anyone else. I insisted on the refund again and he threatened to call the cops if I do not leave their premise right then. To that he added "its a done deal, we WILL NOT do anything now." while I was asking a refund for something I have already paid for but have not received, a clear breach of contract.
I dont know how these guys are still running a hotel with treating their customers like this. I have informed booking.com customer service about the whole incident, asking for a fair investigation on this and to take proper measures. Until I receive a follow up on the consequences, I will actively avoid booking any hotel via Booking.com, for the sake of my sanity

The guy at the temporary front desk/converted room was nice. Location was right off of I-95. That’s about all I liked.
Hotel is under renovation which it seriously needs. Nothing in the room worked well. Most of the lights didn’t work. The Wi-Fi didn’t work. Air conditioner was loud and barely worked. The pillows SUCKED. The TV was old and small, we wanted to hook up a Roku to it but once again, the internet didn’t work. The room stunk. NO BREAKFAST as advertised. No coffee maker or hair dryer in the room. Hotel was loud at night. Seemed like a lot of long term or permanent guests there. People coming and going all hours of the night. Some on loud mopeds and others with Booming Stereos. People grilling outside, which didn’t really bother me. It smelled great but they didn’t offer to share any. I have stayed in many cheap run down divey hotels before but I usually got what I payed for. A bed and a roof. The thing that really bothered me was what I got for what I payed. I payed over $100 a night for a room that all things considered should have been less than half the price. The pictures and description of this hotel on Booking.com are highly misleading. Don’t believe me? Read the other reviews. Will I ever stay here again? Yes, but not until they finish remodeling.

Everything, I booked a room for 2 nights, it smelled like mold probably because there was mold all along the backside of the bathroom, speaking of which the bathroom smelled like urine, the shower I doubt was even cleaned in the first place, and the “towels” had hair in them, not my own hair by the way. I didn’t even want to step on the floor or touch anything. The mini fridge in the room had cockroach feces all along the rims.. hands down one of the most disgusting and worst places I have EVER been to. The manager “guaranteed” me my money back for the second night but he has yet to even respond to booking. Trust me do NOT waste your money! I wish I could get mine back but the sketchy GM on site will probably doubt I was ever even there, I don’t doubt it! Honestly the place should be condemned!!

Everything - Staff couldn't speak English, The cleaning guy kept waking us up early in the morning. He did not want to give us a second set of towels,(there were two of us) Towels left in the room were not clean. NEVER cleaned the room and it was NASTY! We were in a non-smoking room and smoke kept coming in the room from smokers outside. Nobody in office to check out. We were told by staff member to leave key in the room.

Management was rude they are selling drugs out out of the facility. He has hotel GUEST cleaning the rooms for free rooms my room was completely trashed when I got there and had to wait close to an hour that night after driving 4 hours and had to wait on them to clean it only for them to not change the sheets or actually clean up. Worst stay I’ve ever experienced I’m trying to get a full refund because that’s just how uncomfortable my stay was . Everything was broken we couldn’t even watch tv. Also our face towels were not changed there was hair all over them the counter the sheets and etc. I will be contacting the health department as well
