Very clean room and the property was vast. There was a pool a little patio to sit on off our room and plenty of space for a fire pit.

Only one chair for 2 people. Peeling paint in the bathroom. Carpet had sand from previous guests. Arguing guests in the room next door at 2 am. Walls too thin.

We liked our room and bathroom and the bed was comfortable and a good size. We enjoyed meeting Helen the owner who was always friendly and helpful.
We would have liked to use the pool but the weather was too cold. It was probably a bit to hopeful to be able to swim in early October!
It was a shame that Laura and Tony's restaurant which was right next door was closed while we were there, but Helen recommended another restaurant for breakfast which was down the road.

The massively intoxicated long-stay residents partying, stumbling, and drinking into the midnight hours was insane. for $245?? forget it. it was creepy and unfair. Gave place the feel of a meth hotel.

Staff very accommodating. Pool nice and clean. Close to attractions. Restaurant for breakfast next door FABULOUS!!!
Shower curtain was dirty but they changed it out one requested.

The staff was extremely nice and the location was convenient.
It needs some updating, the bathroom shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in some time. There’s a bathroom window instead of a fan that is uncovered and uncomfortable to leave open.

The entire motel is now renovated and upgraded. Very high quality new carpets, mattresses, and new thicker towels. Thick walls for sound muffling. So roomy! New appliances and TV. Marble bathroom counter. They did it right!
The new ceiling lights (LED?) are too bright and totally obnoxious. I like the old ones so much better. The lights make me feel like I'm in a surgery operating room. This is my only complaint.

No frame around the door left light and air into room. Kept hoping nothing crawled into room. No breakfast.

With all the updating, the low toilet and bathroom door that squeaked were a minus

The location was great and an excellent starting point for all of our adventures. The manager (or owner) was awesome! Great personality, very hospitable, and knowledgeable about the area & places to check out. Even though the ice maker was broken (Although I didn’t have any issues), she made sure that there was a cooler full of ice available for guests. We will 100% be back again.
