I didn’t like anything

It was really bad, the place smell like weed they didn’t open the door for us to get into the rooms I had to ask for my money back because it stank

I did not have to wait in line to find out that they wanted 4 times the amount of the room for a deposit. Cash. I canceled the booking and did not stay.

Just a side note really. If i had stayed at the motel before and cause a problem i can understand the need for a deposit. But i have never wrecked a room. Maybe aome kind of area wide names list for motels to rate the gests behavior orr lack of ? I should not have to shell out all kinds of extra money because other people wreck rooms.

There were no hangers in the closet and only one chair (lacking "gliders" to slide smoothly). There was no face plate on the plug recepticle and the toilet paper roll was stuck on the half of the holder that remained. The trucks at the surrounding truck stop were noisy as were people shouting (and smoking) outside the rooms.

Driver arrived the associate was a female asked for his ID and the male associate started telling her something in a foreign language with an angry voice. Driver asked them what was going on and he said they wouldn't give him the room and told him to leave. He asked why and they started speaking in the foreign language again. How can they stay in business when they treat people of different ethnicities like this? Last time I checked I was in the United States of America and believe me when I put this out - someone is going to have to answer for this hideousness occurring at The Garlic Farm Inn.

Except for the things I mentioned, the room was fine, the rate was great and I liked having a 24 hour store there.

I was put into a room that had not been cleaned . When I told the mgr they apologized and cleaned it right away, and it looked great. The floors, however, were very dirty. It looked like it had not been mopped in awhile. Everytime I walked across the room with bare feet the bottoms of my feet were black with dirt.

For my needs there wasn't anything I disliked.

The room was inexpensive. Small refrigerator with a tiny microwave oven. Great wifi reception. During the day, convenience of a trucker's travel center downstairs; sandwich shop, ice cream shop, trucker's shower center. For 24 hours downstairs had access to gas station/convenience store. A Jack in the Box and KFC chicken are well within walking distance.

Checked in about 3:30 pm. Wife had made arrangements to pay cash and leave cash deposit. When I got there the cashier was insistent on a credit card. During checkout the morning cashier asked if I left a cash deposit. First room was basically a bed in a box with some comforts. A/c worked. Blinds broken but blocked viewing in; Television did not work. No phone in the room. Gas station/front desk didn't answer call made from cell phone. Asked for assistance several times for 5 hours; no one arrived. After five hours, finally switched rooms. Blinds broken worse than first set, five minutes and blocked viewing in. A/c noisy and barely cool air came out; did not cool room. TV still did not work.
