This, and its sister hotel, The Avalon next door, is our faves for a great stay-cay in St. Pete (we live near Sarasota). The facilities are uber-retro, clean, and nicely-appointed, especially the lobbies. The pool area and outdoor bar is a true oasis and the inside bar offers up great apps and drinks as well as a nice breakfast. The location is great, allowing a nice stroll to the downtown shops and museums. Oh…and the free parking is a plus. Highly recommended!

The pool and outdoor bar were great. The drinks were well made. Good location and the shuttle driver was awesome! Loved the shuttle service. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful.
The room was musty and the walls were very thin we could hear everything. People were so loud at 3 am. Beds were hard and not comfy.
