What is there not to like about this property? Great staff, location and amazing views.

I love this hotel! The staff is always super friendly. The location is on the main road, but not in a location with a lot of traffic or noise. It is on the water. The rooms have a view of Queen Sound. The breakfast is good. It's easy to get from the hotel to the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge.

could use some upkeep. lots of rust. light outside my door was burnt out so I couldn’t see to put my key in. I said something to staff but it wasn’t taken care of. They have laundry which only takes quarters but no coin machine. a coin machine would make a lot of sense to have! Also large towels provided for jacuzzi would be nice!

I wish they explained what their “grab and go” breakfast meant at check in. I went down to the lobby the morning after with vouchers for me and my fiancé thinking I was just going to pick up two brown bags of food like what most places do when they do “grab and go.” But instead I had to make several different breakfast selections for me and my partner and then attempt to carry it all back up to the room alone. Had I been told at check in about the breakfast spread, my partner and I would have gone down together. It was a nice selection of food (waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, etc), but I couldn’t carry meals back easily for two which was aggravating.

Waterside was on the water. The hotel and room were very clean. The breakfast was delicious and freshly made. The staff was very nice.

The check in lady was pleasant. Everyone else not so much

The bath tub & curtain were gross. The breakfast was so disappointing. We don’t eat pork and they only had sausage. We opted for the waffles which were undercooked and wet. Fruit was 3 wrinkled oranges and one dented apple. Come on. The lady serving was borderline rude. Like “what do you want” no good morning or anything….

We enjoyed the private pier and balcony for sitting outside to view the tranquility of the bay and see gorgeous sunsets. Breakfast was very nice, staff is extremely friendly.

Nice room. Walking distance to restaurants, etc. Great little balcony overlooking marsh with setting sun. Plenty of parking.
