The Shampoo container was empty.

The breakfast was great, complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate in lobby. The beds were comfortable. The gym was great with dumbbells and cable machine.

Location was great. The front desk staff was very nice.
I entered the hotel and immediately heard the housekeeping staff talking about how understaffed they are and how many rooms needed to be cleaned. My room had craisins smashed on the desk, candy wrapper on the floor, and a huge hair nest on the soap shelf in the shower.

Great location, right by Fox River. Easy access to historic sites, and walk along the river trail and enjoy the sunset. Very clean, quiet, accommodating staff, complimentary chocolate chip cookies and hot beverages, comfortable beds. Delightful breakfast choices, has the best western omelette so far for a 3-star hotel.

Was able to walk the downtown area. On a warmer day it would've been nice to walk their little river walk. Excellent breakfast. Super nice welcoming staff. Free parking. Loved the room.
