Nothing I didn’t like besides not wanting to leave

Everything! This place is like your walked into Middle Earth. The proprietors are Tom Bombadil and Goldberry. Well, in reality they are Willie and Brigitte. Brigitte is Bavarian and Willie is Swiss and they built a dream like escape from the evils of the world where even the air is different. The cabin/little house we stayed in was like a tree house with an amazing view of the bay and the mountains. Everything is built by their hard working hands and creative minds and they love their paradise and love having people around. This really shows in every little detail around their garden, homestead and everything on the property. And even the animals know: they have bald eagles and moose who show up regularly. This place is a proof that humans can live in harmony with nature and the proprietors are a true inspiration. Also, Willie's breakfasts are bee's knees. And he is a marvelous story teller who has lead a most interesting life and is full of stories of his grand adventures.

The owners were fantastic, personable & very accommodating. The decor eclectic & very Alaskan. The views phenomenal. Plus got to see Moose in the backyard!

The most beautiful gardens I've ever seen in Alaska! Spectacular view of mountains & Katchemak Bay. Delicious breakfasts with great coffee (they even had warm cream!) and pleasant conversation. Our room was large with a gorgeous view, and had a wonderfully spacious bathroom.

The location was incredible!!! Brigetta and Willie were just wonderful. Funny and pleasant. Willie cooks a terrific breakfast. Their house is so charming and interesting. As are they. I'd go back in a heart beat.
