Room door would not lock, shower head not working properly, one electrical outlet not working

Loved the breakfast, great selections and super clean. But, what made this stay for me was the staff, Michelle at the front desk was one of the friendliest & most helpful people I've met in a long while.

The bathroom was tiny. But doable for only a short stay.

Had ants in our room. Nothing was was done to correct issue after we went to front desk.

Hot tub was SO HOT my kids and I loved it! The pool was also in the upper 70s so it was very comfortable once you got in. The breakfast with eggs, waffle irons, switching between breakfast meats and fast sandwiches, cereals, yogurts, bars, etc. was great. We had a room across from the elevator but we never had any issues with noise. Hair dryer worked and we borrowed a bath plug from the front desk. Front desk and cleaners were always friendly and happy to help. Pool towels had some holes, but I appreciated the fact they didn't just chuck away towels that could still be used! The recommended (by Michelle at Front desk) Rocco's Grill restaurant had delicious food and a circling train which our young kids loved. There was a notice that our room would only be cleaned every third day, however, our trash and towels were exchanged daily. I loved the hours of the breakfast were 6-10am and so when my early risers got hungry for second-breakfast, it was a nice bonus. Also the early pool hours 6am-12 midnight was great for the early risers too getting one last swim on our way out!

Our room was above the front desk, which also meant near to the smoking areas on the front porch and we could smell some smoke before bed due to running the room's AC unit at the window. It wasn't an issue for us, but might be for someone more sensitive.

Good breakfast. Upkeep of hotel poor. No heat in first room. First front desk clerk was rude.

The bathroom needed some maintenance actions. exhaust fan was disconnected due to excessive noise instead of getting replaced. the shower curtain rod need to be replaced as you could see the anchors coming out of the wall. the cleanliness of the breakfast bar was not the best. some foods, like hard boiled eggs were undercooked. Waffle batter was too watered down.

The staff was outstanding! The rooms were clean. The beds were okay. The pool was large and had good hours of operation (until midnight!). The location was perfect for the "Historic Triangle" with only a short drive (<15 min) to each site. There were plenty of restaurants nearby. I loved the fireplace in the lobby. The breakfast was free and had a nice selection.

The hot tub was not hot at all, nor was it particularly clean. The hot breakfast was all pork options, and I would have loved either an egg only or turkey substitute. The beds were a bit too hard for our liking.

The only redeeming quality of my stay was the breakfast. The waffle station and coffee were good and I enjoyed those while I read the previous day’s paper

The general/common areas in hotel were not clean - the carpet needed to at least be vacuumed (preferably replaced and then vacuumed), the hot tub was disgusting, and the staff were incredibly unprofessional. I walked in to hear a receptionist telling someone on the other end of the phone that she was going to have to speak to someone’s supervisor because of the misinformation provided (but she did not sound nearly that eloquent).

pool, spa, restroom area could have been cleaned a little bit. restroom toilet full and stuff on floor. spa had green moldy film along side.

Very friendly staff. Reasonable rates. Nice rooms. Great coffee.

Bad value. Small room for high price. Extremely noisy all night. Just not worth the money at all.
