The shared bathroom was for a whole floor and reminded me of my days when I was hosteling!

Everything was perfect....staff, accommodations, food and drink, setting. Just wonderful!

The grounds and the setting were beautiful. The outdoor seating was great. The dining room and living room were very nice. Liked having free coffee. The little store had just what I wanted.

There was no comfortable place to sit and read in the room. Fortunately the weather was good and the outdoor seating was great.

$230 price much too high for a single person with shared bath. By time you dine in the restaurant its $350. Lovely place but I can't do that but once a yr at best having to opt for lower price accommodations

Most of the rooms were lovely! We had some family in the lodge and some in the cabins - and most were lovely - VERY clean and well maintained (kudos to the cleaning staff)! The beds were VERY comfy!! The patio was fabulous, drinks were great, food was also good. The grounds were spacious and perfect for evening gatherings. In the lodge, the bathrooms are shared, but very well appointed. The drip coffee in the morning by the reception was some of the best coffee I've had! Also, the breakfast cafe was great. Delicious speciality coffees and granola bars.

The placing of guests in rooms seemed random. We booked very far in advance, and I had hoped that would put us in some of the better rooms but initially, we did not get a very good room in the lodge. After talking with the lovely front desk staff, they were able to set us up in a better room, but we moved 2 times over our 4 night stay. (Thank you!!) Also, some sort of mini fridge in the cabins would be nice, just to keep drinks cold, etc.

Wonderful corner room with sitting area overlooking the bay. Grounds were lovely. The afternoon wine was a treat! Met nice people in the evening at the firepit. Great place to exchange travel information.

the property is charming and peaceful, perfect for a romantic escape

shared bathroom was a first for us, but it ended up being fine; there are only about 12 rooms in the lodge so there was rarely someone else in there
