Good breakfast, good size room, good pool

The room was very expensive because of race weekend. The pull out bed was uneven so that the head was lower than the feet.

There are 3 hotels in Osage and they are all in the exact same place, so there's no location advantage to any of them. The Americinn is the nicest of the three, but I have a feeling that the much less expensive Super 8 would have been totally fine. The drive-up motel across the street looked pretty run down. The Americinn has a very nice pool and hot tub, so if you have kids that's a real bonus. The breakfast was acceptable but not exceptional - sausage and powdered eggs with some okay cold options. The room was comfortable enough but the pillows were not to my liking. The shower had good water pressure.

I could not find anyone at the front desk to check out on the day I left so I ended up just leaving my key card on the desk and departing. I also got a call at 10:30pm on my cell phone the day I arrived asking if I was still planning to arrive. This was two hours after I went to sleep, so pretty inconvenient. I was in town for the marathon and the check-in clerk was really hesitant to offer me a late check-out. I was finally able to get one extra hour so I could rush back and shower before going to the airport. I would have appreciated a bit more flexibility since the marathon brings a fair bit of business to the community.

Great swimming pool and hot tub for price. We got our use out of it. We loved the pillows and comfortable bed.

The fold out couch's mattress was very worn or the frame was so it slanted towards the couch, not much cushion there.
