Worst experience ever

The hotel is across from the beach. Location. Location. Location.

The single bed rooms are extremely small and off from the front of the property. Have different corridors for these rooms. Nothing like the pics and it's off season. The heater was on 90 and it blew cold air. The room was freezing and the walls are extremely thin you can hear everything. In room 101 the room was so thin I heard the people next toe their conversation. I was sick so I tried to cancel but was told management refused. Drove down lost my credit card to arrive to disappointment. Now it's st Patty's I have no money and my room was horrible. I just went home. The front staff knew my situation and didn't offer at least some of my money back. I will never go to Charlroy again.

The Charlroy is always great. It's directly across from the Beach and Boardwalk. Clean and Friendly staff as usual. Thanks Again for a wonderful stay!

Not comfortable when u had to add piles to hold up second floor

I like the little towel made into a duck. I like the coffee and bagles.

I did not like that the balcony was held up by wood poles or whatever they were. I did not like that we were only there two days and came to swim but the pool was closed a whole day. Also you should get a grill.

Superb

The room was very clean and updated mostly. Very close to beach an access point. They let us register and park at noon dl we could enjoy the beach. Bagels and coffee every morning...yum.

The beds we like sleeping on rock slabs.

The location to the beach and board walk.

The first room they gave us had black mold on the bathroom ceiling, the second room was better except for the sand on the floor, the shower not spaying to full capacity, and also the electric outlets being loose in the walls,and the stains on the curtains.

FAMILY FRIENDLY WITH ACCESS TO EVERYTHING

The staff was amazing. They were friendly and courteous. It actually felt like a "family" rather than your normal Motel staff. I wanted to book for next year but was told I couldn't until March or April. That would be my only gripe. The location was AWESOME, room was HUGE and the pool was PERFECT!!

The cleanliness of the room. I do understand the motel is aged and most likely has experienced a lot of rough weather which shows all around the property. I feel like it could use a nice renovation. We didn't stay there to spend an exorbitant amount of time in the room or on the property it was all about LOCATION. I would also like to be able to book a YEAR out so I can get the same accommodations every year.

Family trip to the shore

The location was great. They give you a. Each pass for the beach (with a deposit) but that was nice. Could walk across the street

The bathrooms were moldy and not clean or updated. People sat literally at our door and smoked. We have issues with cigarette smoke so it was an issue coming right into our room. The pool deck was dirty.

The low down

Overall I was impressed as shore hotels have a reputation and this place was better than expected. The room was clean and had a fridge. The bathroom was dated but clean. The location was amazing. Right next to the boardwalk and directly across from a beach access point. They also had a pool but I did not go in.

My only complaint is there are a lot of stairs and levels and no elevator.

The manager, she was absolutely amazing and very understanding and accommodating for the situation we were coming out of. I can’t thank this place and their staff enough for everything they provided for us!!!

Fantastic place to stay!

The staff was friendly, fresh coffee available all day, no issue with an hour late check-out, excellent location, on-premises parking, beautiful pool, close to everything...literally, beach right across the street, comfortable beds, fridge and microwave in room, had everything we were looking for. Overall, a great place to stay!

Only two things; the shower head... water came out like a mist with no option to change, simple fix with new shower heads. No ability to stream movies in room, the great, flatscreen tv had DirecTV with a lot of channels, however, there is no way to purchase a movie, cast to TV from my phone or laptop or use my streaming services or watch YouTube. The wifi was great, a simple tweak to the TV's settings would allow guests to use Netflix or other services and/or just cast from phones or pc.
