The rooms were very nice and clean alot of space and were nice and cool..!!!!

On site restaurant closed to early and food was nasty also pools could have stayed open later and for being Vip everything was across the street from beach front and just very far from any restaurants and town...

We enjoyed the activities available for our grandchildren, the layout of the condo and the water pressure from the shower!

Be presided to drive a minimum of 20 minutes back to the pier for restaurant selections! Also note cafe closes at 7 pm. Didn’t like that there was nothing to rent for the beach, umbrellas, chairs, cabanas, tents would be great to rent!

Room location- paid for signature suite villa 500.00 a night on beach instead we were dumped across the street to the back of resort around nothing, staff was rude and very argumentative they said there was an over booking ( I have never heard of a hotel over booking ) staff refused to call management, WORST our moderate room suite on second floor in and around the building was a Fire Hazard all sprinklers were corroded and covered up, Fire Alarm Panels were rusted and inoperable, Fire Main Housing and valve was also rusted out (view pictures below), inside our so call villa the hall door leading to all rooms, the door knob was broken and 3 of us were trapped in and couldn't get out, lucky 1 child was on other side, all other doors were swollen and very hard to open. The elevator door jammed it took about 13 seconds then jagged closed. This to us was a scam, they appear to be refurbishing all these complexes, some buildings were still vacant and due to the destruction from the hurricane they still have a ways to go at our expense. To include no shower curtain, mold, corrosion around floor base and outside patio furniture was covered with webs. WE DID NOT STAY and it took 2 and half hours more to getting our refund from the staff!!!

This is our favor IHG/Vacation Club property. We have stayed that this location several times. We love being on the beachside.

When we first checked in we were given a room with a view of the the utility room. This was depressing as we pick this building for beach access. We did request another room and was told the manager would not be in until the following day however when we called the second time we were able to move to another room. The second room that we were moved to had to AC units that did not work efficiently. Although maintenance came and attempted to add more Freon to the AC the bedroom, living room and kitchen were hot during the entire stay. It didn’t cool down until we were checking out. It’s 100° in Galveston during this weekend so opening the doors wasn’t an option. The resort was booked solid so we were trapped. We were miserable. Especially at nights. It was my birthday weekend so I was disappointed. It’s was also peak season so we paid triple the amount we normally would. 😞

No elevator and wasn’t told until after we paid Was told we would have movies books games puzzles in our room and didn’t We’re supposed to be by the beach and was on the opposite side of the road It wasn’t clean there was still trash left from the last people. Tv didn’t work properly it kept changing channels it’s self which scares the kids and that if the channels came in at all

We loved that it was right across from beach, and the pool was really nice.

The floors were very dirty. We have a crawler and his knees and hands were black. Our king comforter had a huge chocolate stain as if the maid didn’t change out the comforter. The showers seemed like they haven’t been clean before. When we brought up about having someone come and mop they just dropped off a vacuum. We had to call 3 times to get some extra towels. Also, the pull out bed in the couch was so thin. I don’t think it’s good enough for anyone to sleep on. The springs definitely hit your ribs.

I wanted better/closer access to the beach. I was placed in a unit that did not have an elevator and I'm handicapped and their best accommodation was up three floors. Staff did not show up to transfer luggage up 3 flights. Also towels were not replaced during my stay.

The infinity pool advertised is for signature guests only so we didn't have access, but we did see it and it was small, run down and dirty. The hotels are not oceanfront at all. The pool for non signature guests was like a community pool. My apartment pool is nicer. The room was nice and spacious but that's about all we enjoyed.

There was no direct beach access. We had to drive and park closer to the beach walkway. The pool and cafe were detached from the main property grounds and access to restaurants was a little more remote. The property restaurant menu was limited and they closed early. No room service available

First you told me it’s a villa and it’s not from pictures you are telling the people it’s on the cost but it’s not

Rooms were very nice. Loved having basketball court and putt putt course on site.

Pool was freezing cold. No hot tub for regular guests. No laundry facilities.

Alot. Staff was not very helpful. The listing does not explain that you are actually across the street (not on the beach) and have no access to the amenities (like the lovely pool shown in the pictures) at all. Instead you get access to a freezing cold pool and a kiddie pool that looks like it has not been cleaned in 5 years. Asked about upgrading to the Signature rooms which apparently was necessary to use the nice pool and other items, but were told none were available, yet could go online and book the exact room.

The room was great! Fresh new look and had everything we needed. Having the basketball court, shuffle board and mini golf made the misty mornings fun.

Prior to going I called the hotel to confirm our room would be on the beach and I was told yes. It was a large disappointment when we got there that not only were we not on the beach, we had to drive across the road to get to it. We were told we could not use anything with the facilities with the hotel on the beach. They could come use ours but we could not go use theirs. Theirs was for “signature” guests only. We had no access to the workout facility, their infinity pool or restaurants/bars, etc. Our pool was cold, filled with sand, and looked out to open land that had a broken down shack on it. Definitely was not a vacation view. The restaurant we did have access to, the service was terrible. They didn’t have many of the items on the menu. It took over and hour to get pizza when we were the only ones ordering. We called to get fresh towels for the room and never received them. They tried to push timeshares on us more than once. When we asked about upgrading to the other hotel they said there was no availability, but yet when looking online we could see they had openings. We talked to the front desk about these disappointments and they said because we booked thru booking.com there was nothing they could do. The way this hotel is advertised and the pictures that go up need to be fixed to not misrepresent what you get when accessing a villa. We thought we were upgrading when in fact it was a major downgrade.

Location, Nicole at front desk was super friendly and answered every question, all the amenities were fun, and close to all the beach accesses.

Rooms were not fully cleaned, ceiling fans made alot of noise throughout the night, toilet kept running when it wasn't in use.

I was extremely disappointed in the way I was deceived you all show this picture as the primary hotel this is a facade what you really get is a building away from all the amenities and you have to walk across the street to a part of the beach you are located 20 minutes away from Downtown Glaveston, this is in Jamaica Beach no where near anything.

The photos provided on the website were all of the signature club across the street. The pool was not as pictured. The room was located in the very back of the property in a building that was being renovated. It was quite a shock after checking in to find out the parking, the beach, the pool, the facilities were all way less quality than what was pictured and advertised on the booking.com website

Location was far from any attractions. Building was being renovated. False advertisement of the pool for as much as I paid.

Enjoyed just about everything!!! The staff really were pleasant, and everything was in great shape; very clean. We got the oceanfront room. It was beautiful. The location was on the other side of Jamaica, away from Galveston but close enough. Parking was covered with good sized spots.

Came to hear ocean waves, not music from pool area until 10:00 at night (but I am a fuddy-duddy). A foot washer would be nice coming back from beach. The motion light coming into room was constantly turning on. Additional set of towels would be nice. Soft closing toilet seats would be a plus..
