Very quiet and peaceful

Location is perfect on the residential hills. The apartment is well-equipped with a small terrace and nice views. The host has German origins and is available for queries. We did not have any problems throughout the stay.

The sofa bed is worn out and should be renewed. Not an issue for us but the TV is comparably old/small.

Exceptional host and stay

The shower was a bit odd. There is a shower door but it does not cover the entire shower so the back half of the shower is pretty much open for water to go onto the floor. The water pressure is not good at all neither does the water get hot. The kitchen photos can be a little misleading because there is not a stove but a toaster oven. The couple that owns this property is a very sweet couple. The husband however for whatever reason felt like I smoked? He repeatedly made it clear at check in that there’s no smoking allowed. Then he proceeded to say there’s no smoking of marijuana and he’s allergic to marijuana so if you smoke marijuana he will have to ask you to leave. At that point I felt offended and made it clear to him sir I don’t smoke anything not even marijuana!

Set atop a beautiful Beverley Hills community, the views were stunning and the couple that owns the property were very nice.

Everything. It was great. Lovely place great location extremely nice owners of the home. We had an amazing time and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Amazing location and views. Super comfy bed. Spacious bedroom. Lots of storage space. Modern spacious bathroom. Easy parking. Friendly owner. Very quiet, safe neighbourhood. Great artwork on walls.

Bad WiFi connection. No Netflix. Small TV. Plates/cups/utensils are dated. Living room furniture could be updated.

Great location. Tranquil environment. Nice view.

A lovely modern 1BR guest apartment connected to the main house in a quiet location near the top of the Santa Monica Mountains with nice views of Beverly Hills from the patio. The bedroom is plenty spacious, the separate living room meant the kids slept in their own room (on the sofabed) so our sleep times didn’t have to match. The kitchen/dining was well-stocked with cookware, etc., so we cooked breakfasts and relaxed in the mornings, rather than drive to a restaurant. Marleen and Reinhard were very gracious (and nice to chat with since he and my wife are both architects), and clearly take pride in keeping it so attractive, tidy and welcoming. Parking is on the street, but always right in front since there is only one real neighbor. A 10 minute drive to central Beverly Hills for dining (affordable, even!) or 15 to Westwood/UCLA or West Hollywood. Perfect location for our trip since we wanted to visit friends in our old Westside neighborhood, but also family in the Valley. I’d happily bring the family here again.
