Our room was quite far from the lobby where the breakfast served. We hadn't asked for any special accommodations so made no complaint. Next time we will know to speak up when booking. The breakfast was very good and consisted of good variety. Had no trouble eating it everyday during our 2 week stay. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate every request even adjusting a mobility aid for me and then checked with me several times to make sure it didn't need further adjusting.

The hotel was clean and well equipped. The breakfast was adequate but I think you should not use plastic cutlery and cups and use reusable ones instead. Single use plastic is being phased out at most hospitality establishments and developed parts of the world and it is a pity that Holiday Inn is behind in this regard. Plastic does harm the environment and it is not necessary as there are better alternatives (stainless steel or bamboo if it is too much trouble to wash the stainless steel).
We had informed Booking.com our arrival time was between 8 and 9 pm and I received an email from booking.com that the hotel had confirmed that this arrival time. However, when we got there a few minutes after 8pm there was no one at the check in desk. We tried to call the number for the hotel and I heard my call ringing on the desk but there was literally no one present to answer my call. So I called booking.com while my husband walked around the hotel trying to find the person on duty. Booking.com were sympathetic and tried to help me but they too were unable to find someone to help us. So I asked for a full refund. The confirmation states that if we did not show up we would forfeit our booking fee but, of course, there is no mention of what they would do for us if THEY fail to show up to let us into our room. So I requested a full refund as they had not fulfilled their side of the deal. Booking.com said they would refund me but that I would have to wait up to 14 days for my refund which I felt was unacceptable. They can take our money in an instant but they somehow cannot refund it in an instant. This is fundamentally not fair. Finally, the night staff member arrived. She was in high dudgeon because there had been a incident and she was dealing with the police. I understand she had a priority to deal with, but what I don’t understand is why a Holiday Inn does not employ a second staff member cover these eventualities. This hotel is a large one with conference facilities and yet there is only ONE, person to deal with the needs of hundreds of guests. This is not good enough. She said that these issues had arisen before and she had told management that she needs back up but apparently nothing had been done to provide her some support. Anyway, eventually we were checked in and went to our room. We were not offered an upgrade. Only when the tv in our room failed to work she gave us an upgrade. This should have been done at the outset due to the delay. Shame on them!

Great location, friendly staff,well decorated. I had asked if they had a shower chair and the desk clerk went to every floor to see if they had one. That was excellent service.
One elevator was out of service but that is just one of those things that happen occasionally.

The location was perfect for our needs. We were in town for a family Bridal shower and stayed in 2 Queen Suites. Our rooms were spacious, the beds and bedding so cozy. The staff was very welcoming and hospitable during our stay. They even arranged (without us asking) that our suites be next to each other. This hotel is TOP NOTCH!- modern, SPOTLESS and beautifully decorated. I just cannot say enough of how nice our stay was. I would recommend this hotel 1000%!!

Breakfast was fine. No issues with breakfast
For some reason we couldn't get our room cleaned in the 6 nights we stayed after 3 attempts to do so. We emptied our ouwn trash and went to the cleaning staff while on our floor to get towels. Told them we needed our room cleaned but to no avail. On the last day, we finally had someone deliver towels and essentials to our room. Perhaps staff shortage because we have never had this problem in the past.

The king size bed was great. The bathroom had all the amenities and more.
