The location
It wasn’t clean, and we didn’t get the rooms we booked and paid for.

The free breakfast was great. The staff was very friendly. You didn’t have to wait long for the elevator.

Absolutely beautiful building right near the river! The room itself is small but so cute and so comfortable.
The blankets are soft and fluffy and the bed was really comfortable although on the more form side but that’s personal preference.
The bathroom is really big for the size of the room! And provides so many soaps, shampoos and other little things you might need.
The view was amazing at sunset. I loved the little detail of having the tv day welcome with my name on it!
Breakfast had so many options, from a waffle station, to fluffy cheesy omelettes and some prepackaged snacks if you want a quick bite to go. Complimentary bottled water and coffee all day, great stay!

Most everything was great. The location and and parking were perfect! We were able to walk around and see so many different things.
I was disappointed that the door to the room and the door to the bathroom were so hard to close and open. Almost had to kick the door to open it while unlocking it.

The property was very clean. Check in was super easy! We were on the 4th floor and the connected parking structure had hotel access on each floor.
We only stayed one night and there wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

The breakfast was very good. It is the perfect location for an Iowa Cubs game and stay overnight.
The pool and hot tub water were cold.

Location.
Hot tub broke. Pool was about 60 degrees. (Freezing) Both Queen beds in 205 have sprung springs in beds, very noisy. TV very small compared to other hotels we have stayed in. No USB ports in the room.

It’s welcoming and in the middle of downtown area so there’s plenty to do.
Last time I arrived everything was perfect this time the Wi-Fi was out and the bathroom light stopped working. I figured out the Wi-Fi wasn’t connected and promptly fixed it but normally the place should be checked and fixed before checking in. Also the Tv stand wasn’t able to stretch out to the bedside since the mount was farther away on the wall. Other than that it was great, just minor complaints.

Small king bed. The hot tub was luke warm due to have be drained two days prior to my stay. Hard to find hot tubs near downtown Des Moines

The room was a nice size
I reserved and paid for a room with a river view. We did not get that as we were looking at the parking garage. The rate was not adjusted nor were we compensated in any way by the hotel or Booking.com

great location for our trip. staff was friendly and helpful.
carpets in hallways we're old and dingy. the ice machine was broken. the furniture had a tear in the arm, where stiching was missing.

We loved the location as it was within walking distance to the Iowa Cubs game we were attending, as well as the river walk and bars/restaurants. The fireworks both nights, provided by the Iowa Cubs, were fantastic and we had the perfect view from our balcony. We also loved the view of the river from our balcony.
