It is close to the Tsuruhara Station, where one can get access to the Nankai lines pretty fast. There is a coffee shop near the house, which serves sandwiches as well. The hosts are nice to lend me a bike to wander around.

Very convenient for access to the airport. Good local restaurants. We enjoyed riding the bikes.
My husband left his bag on the train with his wallet and passport in it. We arrived at Bighem Maison and informed the host who reassured us and immediately made a couple of calls. To our amazement his bag was found. The just advised us where to pick it up and we had it back within two hours.

The lovliest hosts ever! They gave us lots of excellent recommendations for onsens and restaurants in the area and even recommended the right ticket for exploring the area! (Kansai Through Pass, saved us a lot of money going to Nara etc.)
There were bicycles for us to use, which made exploring that much easier. Really loved that.
We stayed for a week and really felt at home! The rooms are clean and very comfortable. We slept so well on the futons!
The bath is nice and roomy, has everything you need!
The house is close to the train station, so you can be out the door and on the train to Osaka in 5mins!
All in all a definite recommendation! A+

4 minute walk from the train station for easy access to the airport for late arriving/early take off flights! Host was super lovely. Super good value compared to nearby hotels
Quite small but there’s a communal area, but we arrived at 10pm and left at 5am so it was perfect for us

On the night we‘ve arrived at Kansei airport, there was a heavy snow storm delaying our flight for 5h pushing our checkin time to 6am in the morning. In addition, it wasn‘t sure if the train to the accommodation would be able to run and the roads were closed as well. However, the owners tried everything they could to help us out. The whole procedure was very stressful for us but the owners made us feel welcomed and comfortable. As we checked in pretty late, they even offered us to check out later than the normal check out time - that was very kind and forthcoming. We highly recommend staying at the lovely designed home stay!

It was my first time in Japan and I had no idea how to get to the hotel from the airport… The owner texted me back and forth for an hour and a half after the attendants at the train station told me all the wrong things… absolutely amazing and I highly recommend staying at Bighem Maison!

The airbnb is situated in an old renovated japanese house. So if you are looking for something traditional with a tatami room, it is very nice.
I wish they renovated the whole washroom/toilet so there's more space.

This house is unique! I always wanted to stay in a traditional Japanese place, and it was it.
The owners of this place speak English, which is very helpful! They are a very nice couple. They let me use their bicycle to ride around.
I recommend this place with all of my heart!

Though the building looks old and dirty from the outside, the inside is neat and clean.

Their homemade meals were so lovely. Used seasonal and local ingredients as much as they could. And very reasonably they arranged our stay according to our needs. They were very helpful especially for us who have a little child as a travel companion.
Toilet was very small and smelled a bit. As this accommodation is originally Japanese traditional house, it cannot be avoided even though they cleaned very nicely. And our room was upstairs, but the toilet and the bathroom were downstairs. That was why it was a bit tiresome to go up and down at the stairs at night or with our child.

Charming place, a perfect one to start exploring Japan:) very comfortable, lovely hosts, we were allowed to check in way earlier than expected, both hosts speak very good English.

Very good value
A lot of traffic noise. As it’s a traditional Japanese house it doesn’t have much sound proofing and the street noise kept me up but didn’t keep my daughter up. So I guess it depends if you are a light sleeper.
But for the price you really can’t complain.
