The noise coming from the room above, called the front desk twice little help this is the second time I’ve had this problem with noise, when I checked out I got no response from the clerk, last time I stay here

The facility was located close to where our great grandson celebrated his 1st birthday party. We were able to walk across a snow cleared hotel parking lot to Squeelers BBQ Restaurant for a family evening get together even in snowy, below 0 temperatures. The facility was quiet and were able to get a great night's sleep. Also loved the extra towels we had in our bathroom even though we only used 2 bath towels, 2 washcloths, a hand towel and a bath mat. Doesn't happen very often. Greatly appreciated.
We had difficulty getting into our room after checkin. The key card wasn't letting us in. Had to return to front desk to activate it.
In our bathroom shower, one of the containers was missing.. The one container remaining was conditioner. So the missing one could have been shampoo or shower gel. We had brought shower gel and shampoo along. We had 2 bars of soap. Most likely, not intentional but oversights.

Breakfast is as expected, choices include waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cold cereal and etc..
Room next to elevator was not great. Sound of doors to rooms closing seem to echo, little kids running around in the room above us. It made for a noisy night.

It was a very clean, nice hotel in an easy to access location. The only area of improvement would be to offer more fruit, yogurt, etc., for the continental breakfast. I would stay there again with no hestitation.
Parking is a little tight in the lot, but manageable. Would suggest they expand parking on the south side of their building.

Easy access from IH90. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Lots of options.
Person checking me in did not acknowledge me standing in front of her until she was ready. No "I'll be right with you" or anything. Her demeanor was just all business.

Quick check in. Staff is very friendly. Facilities and room extremely clean. Everything in the room worked. Bed and pillows so comfortable. Breakfast was really good and well stocked. Pool area big and well kept.

It is a great hotel
The staff let me check out and go home at 330pm said would refund for the day asst Mgr said I checked out after 4pm so I would no longer be refunded after already told I would be. I know when I checked out because I was I'm Chancellor SD at 4pm I have call logs to prove it and now they will.not refund so I am canceling my future booking I do not like to be called a liar or lied to.

The room and hotel was clean.
I'm handicapped and pre-booked a room over 2 weeks in advance. I also notified the hotel 2x that I'd be arriving late with my nurse. When we arrived, I was told that there was no handicapped room available and that they never noticed that I needed one. I was then told that I could receive a refund and go try to find another hotel with a handicapped room. Travelling isn't easy for me and we had already been driving very far which was uncomfortable and exhausting so this was not an option. Also, it was late and the likelihood of finding a handicapped room at that hour by driving around a strange town was also not an option. I was then told that I'd be receiving a refund for the issue but that it would take about 3 days. I never received a refund or any correspondence at all. After waiting 2 weeks, I sent letters to the corporate offices, since the Grand Stay Hotel / Tea had proven to be inept and incapable of dealing professionally with their customers. I received no response from them either. This is no way to operate a business. Handicapped people have NEEDS, not wants and we are people too and should be treated with respect and dignity. This hotel is not the place to stay if you have any special needs, desires, or expectations of professionality..
BTW, You'll receive a text from the hotel prior to your arrival telling you that they are there for you and let them know if you need anything by texting back. DON'T BOTHER! They don't read those either. Oops!

We travel with our 2 dogs. We are very particular and we like a very nice hotel — not a dump! GrandStay was perfect. The staff was cheerful and the waffles were so delicious!
