Breakfast is a bit simple, but it's free.

Staff were all very friendly. Clean rooms and facility. Location!!!

The room was filthy breakfast room was too small. Rooms were overpriced.

The hotel felt generally run down and tired, except the garden which was immaculate. The paint was peeling on the ceiling of our bedroom and my daughters room had droplets of water all over the ceiling, which we were told was due to air conditioning being too high, however we have not had this problem with any other hotel on our trip. I’m not sure how hygienic this is. We saw a number of cockroach’s on the stairs and the carpets looked stained and felt sticky. it was terrible value for money. We moved on to a Hilton at Myrtle beach and our room was 100% better with better facilities but The Holiday Inn Nags Head was still more expensive. Breakfast was served on polystyrene plates with plastic knives and forks, I am surprised that a world renowned hotel like the Holiday Inn isn’t doing more stop plastic waste impacting the environment - how much waste does it produce using disposable crockery and cutlery? Overall not happy at all.
