Breakfast was ok
Did not get a handicap room which I reserved. The sheets on the bed were dirty, the pillows stunk and the room was not clean. The air conditioner was not working properly and the room was not cool at all

Hotel was better than expected based on some reviews we had read. Actually intended to book another hotel but booked this one by mistake. Pleasantly surprised. The room was clean (with one exception) and A/C worked fine. The bed was comfortable. It was quiet. The breakfast was adequate and had more offerings than expected.
There was a bar of soap left in the shower. The rest of the bathroom and the room itself was very clean.

First room hadn't been fully cleaned or stocked. We were moved to a different room that was clean. Staff seemed disinterested in everything. We won't stay here again.

We liked everything about the hotel except a few things about the pool. Good service and friendly staff, also good breakfast. Will be coming back.
Didn't like the fact that the pool had a sort type of salt, but other than that, everything was great.

Breakfast looked old, blah and poor quality.
Upon arrival the towels folded in the bathroom were damp, front desk replaced with no questions asked or apology. The front desk attendant was sitting on a couch in the entry on his cell phone. He ran around the counter to check us in. When I came for assistance with the wet towels he was again sitting on the sofa on his phone. Not very professional. Breakfast looked awful-we decided to skip it!

Front desk receptionist was great - efficient, helpful, respectful. The bed was comfortable. The desk and chair were good for using a computer. Plenty of electrical outlets. The yogurt, fruit, juices, breakfast was very good - omelets, sausage patties, waffle maker, good coffee, breads, muffins, bagels. Good location close to freeway, gas stations,

Bed was comfortable. Room overall looked clean.
The carpet in the hallway on the 2nd floor had the same dirt and trash on it all 3 days we were there- Tues-Thur. Our room wasn’t cleaned, trash dumped, shampoo replenished, etc while we were there. The towels were very skimpy and looked like something you’d get from the dollar store. The breakfast was just mediocre.

Location good, staff friendly and helpful.
Toilet ran, and the room could have been better appointed. The lampshade was askew because it was broken where it attached, the desk chair had peeling vinyl.

The man that checked us in was nice. The front staff lady and “Roy” that I dealt with upon check out were extremely rude and made the stay the worst experience I’ve ever had. When I asked if he was the manager because of the way he treated me, I was told he was “just Roy”. Apparently there was a hold on my card and they were trying to charge me more money but the bank declined it and I refused to give them cash and they caused a BIG scene, locked us out of our room on day 2, and was very hateful to my family!! While I was on the phone with the bank, they released the hold and the regular room charges “miraculously” went through. Then the lady wanted to act all nice.

Great location, friendly, helpful staff, very clean.
The cost was a little steep for Paul's Valley -- the cost is comparable with similar hotels IN Norman. If it were a bit less, I'd stay here every time I go to the Norman area (10-12 times annually).
