The campground itself was nice, the facilites need some updating. the staff was ok, not the friendliest. the cabin looked like it hadnt been clean in a while.

The lake is very nice. The pool can become busy but it was very nice also. Very clean and clear. There were shaded areas available with either a canopy or a pavilion at the pool daily. The a.c. on the unit was great. Very nice location in relation to getting to the beach. Secure...had to enter a code to get into campground. Had all of the kitchen essentials for cooking...stores closeby for essentials. Pet friendly. Quiet hours that seemed honored. We would visit again.

It was frustrating that it wasn't made clear we would have to provide linens or pay a $10/person fee of they had availability. Fortunately they did because we had no room to bring them. There were pillows available but they had stuff on most of them. The linen packs came with 2 pillow cases per person for us so we doubled up and used them. We also had to pay $5/day for TV...we didn't know that. On booking.com it showed the facility had a hot tub and it did not. The laundry facilities were out of order due to remodel....wish we had known. The lots were closer than pics show and we did not have a propane grill...only charcoal so the menu-plan we had had to be adjusted, unfortunately. The placement of the children's playground is behind a pavillion within the pool fence...parents need to sit in a particular place to see their child and obviously "going to the park" alone couldn't occur since the pool is right there. The pool table was missing balls. Only 4 dining chairs in our unit that slept 6. Only a love seat and a chair with a caved in seat in the "living room..." we brought our camp chairs in.
