It was spacious

The room was very nice; it basically had everything we needed in there. I'm not sure if it had been remodeled or what, but the facilities seemed to be new and very accommodating. I have no complaints about the room itself.
I did not like the outside of the property first of all. When it professes to be in an IHG hotel, you just look for something different. I don't really know what the IHG is referring to though, but the outside leaves something to be desired. It's a pet friendly hotel but who came up with the ideal that pets can stay in any room? You've gone too far with that. Just like there are smoking and non-smoking rooms, there could be rooms that are only for pets to stay in. I'm sure that's why the carpet hasn't been changed in the hallways; the pets will just ruin it again. It looks a mess.

1.Many things in the room didn’t work or were broken, ice machine, recliner, bathroom fan, light bulbs missing, etc.
2.Aggressive panhandling daily clear up to the hotel door.
3.Asked to have bed changed on day 5 of stay due to soil from fall. Told no. Couldn’t have service until day 7.
4.Plastic wet floor signs left in middle of lobby, coffee room, end of hall, 24/7. My blind husband fell and hit his head once and it was a constant worry for him.

Very nice staff, and very clean!
The pool area taken over every evening by out of state workers drinking and loud music ALL night. Oh, also a fight around 6am amongst themselves when we were checking out.

The front desk was not always staffed, no problem for me but just a thought.

the room was cramped. The box spring looked like it had been chewed - the bottom cover was in shreds and hanging. The bathroom could have been cleaner.
