The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It was also easy to get to from the train station. The owner was very responsive and helpful.
5.0
The apartment is in a brilliant position particularly hot visiting the Vatican- probably 5-10 minutes to St Peter’s, and being able to see the Dome from the bedroom is very cool.
Lucia was very responsive, she arranged a transfer from the airport which was smooth and very reasonable. She also met us and showed us through the property and was very contactable if an issue arose.
The apartment is very comfortable- good beds and two bathrooms ( the showers are tight). As we were there over Christmas Lucia had placed Christmas decorations inside which was a nice touch.
In terms of getting to the rest of Rome the 62&64 bus run very close by and the railway station visible from the window makes it easy to get to Trastavere and other areas. Taxi stand also nearby.
Some nice little restaurants also nearby and a very good supermarket just around the corner.
Would recommend this apartment.

This place was very good for a family of five to explore Rome and its surroundings. Close to railway and bus stop.

As you can see from the pictures the apartment is beautiful. It is tastefully decorated, the living area is comfortable, and the Wifi is strong and reliable. The kitchen is very well equipped, and generously stocked with coffee, tea, biscuits, and water. It is literally a 10 minute walk to St. Peter's Square, in a quiet friendly neighborhood. The glow from the dome is the only thing that might keep you awake at night- don't worry, there is a curtain.
I gave this an overall 5 star rating, with two comments. The listing states there is a dryer, and there is not one. As we planned our packing with this option in mind it was pretty disappointing and inconvenient. Also, as others have noted, the showers are small, like really small, think RV/boat small. We managed quite well, just an FYI.
One other problem was addressed and resolved as quickly as possible, and Lucia was quite apologetic. She is eager to make your stay as comfortable as possible and even accommodated a special request for our arrival.
One more thing, if you're coming from the airport Lucia will arrange transportation for you. I highly recommend that service. The vehicles are spacious and comfortable, the drivers were prompt and courteous, and it was reasonably priced.
All in all a wonderful stay and I can't wait to return to Roma!

Only a short walk to Vatican City. All needs close by with public transport, supermarket's and eateries. The host Lucia was super helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Lucia's English was much better than our Italian so communications were a breeze. The apartment was super comfortably and fully equipped with modern equipment so nights at home were easy. Highly recommend.

This apartment was in the perfect location for our visit to Rome. We had easy access to both the train station and taxi service at the station. We were within easy walking distance to Vatican City and visited the site 3 times because it was so easy to get to. We enjoyed a lovely restaurant and coffee shop very near the apartment. The apartment itself was lovely and very comfortable and very clean. Our host provided many nice amenities which added to our comfort. I would love to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone coming to Rome.

This is such a charming flat in a quiet area, very close to St Peter’s and transportation, with everything you need. You won’t be sorry you booked it!

Having travelled around Europe for 7 weeks this accommodation was our last stop and our best. Very tasteful decorated and in a superb location with transport easily accessible. Communication with owner was excellent and we could tell she took pride in her responsibility to maintaining the apartment to a high standard for travellers to enjoy.

The place was very clean there where four adults. Nice neighborhood to walk in. Taxi stand not to far and restaurants to. The host was very helpful and responsive to our question. The place was very clean.
We enjoyed staying here and would recommend it.

We only stayed 3 nights but it was perfect for what we needed for a quick visit.
Supermarket and River around the corner, Vatican 5 mins, train and buses across the road, loads of restaurants nearby.
The showers were tiny but we didn't care, we were happy to be clean after a 24hour flight and hot adventures around Rome.
Everything was easy, we would stay again.

We really enjoyed to stay in this beautiful apartment. The owner helped us to arrange transportation from the airport to the place. We found a very clean and beautiful apartment with everything that you and my family needed and more, even something for our first breakfast. The location is fantastic and we could walk to Saint Peter’s Square. We really appreciated to find umbrellas to beat the hot wave. The most important part is that we met a very kind and care host. She helped us with everything, she care for us and have every thing ready.

This property is conveniently located within a couple blocks of Vatican City. You can just walk to it and you can see the St. Peter’s Basilica from one of the bedrooms. It’s also located across street from bus #64 which takes you to most of the site seeings, and St. Peter’s train station. Although the property is centrally located but it’s very quiet at night.
This property is super clean and the owner, Lucia, is such a sweet and nice lady. She responds the messages very quickly and met us personally during checkin and checkout. She even arranged a driver to pick us up from Rome airport.
Highly recommend this property!

Great stay for our family of 4 to explore Rome for 4 days. Lucia was a wonderful host and excellent at helping us organize our transportation both from the port of Rome and to the airport. We had plenty of room and the apartment was in a wonderful location close to restaurants and a small supermarket. We would gladly recommend to anyone looking to book a stay in Rome.

This apartment worked well for my family with two teenagers. The rooms had air conditioners and a good layout. The bathrooms were small, which made showering difficult, but it worked fine for my family. Lucia was very easy to work with and responsive to questions beforehand and during. This apartment is within walking distance to the train station.

This property is a 15-minute walk (if you’re older like us) to the Vatican and that made the location absolutely ideal for us. It’s in a nice building with clean facilities in a comfortable space. From one of the twin beds, you can see St. Peter’s lit up at night. Just gorgeous. Lucia was excellent to work with, very responsive and kind. One thing of note if you’re on the larger side is the showers are quite small. There is an elevator to get up to the apartment (after getting up about 6-8 steps first). We would happily stay here again.

Lucia is a wonderful host and was so helpful to our family, as this was our first time in Rome.
The apartment was perfect for a family of 4 and a 10-minute walk to the Vatican.

Clean and spacious apartment close to Vatican. Neighborhood was quiet with a few restaurants close by. The apt was well stocked with 2 bathrooms, fresh linens, washer, and even had coffee and pastries for us. Even the sofa bed was comfortable. Host was helpful and checked on us during our stay. There is a lift available. Highly recommend this apartment!

Our stay was amazing! The flat was very clean, and easily fit our family of 4. It was easy to get to all of the main sites from this location, but far enough away to be able to relax. Many places to eat, and gelato close by. Also the A/C was nice, and cool. After all the walking we were all happy for the elevator! Lucia was very helpful when we needed her, and very punctual with her responses. She was able to set up transfers for us, and our oldest daughter flew in 8 hours before us. I can't even explain how amazing the view of St. Peters is from this place, or really how close it is. My family will stay here again when we come back for a visit!

The apartment was beautiful and just as described. It was extremely clean and was just the right space for myself, my husband, and our two children. Everything we wanted to see in Rome was easily accessible by walking or taking busses. We loved exploring the neighborhood, so many delicious restaurants within easy walking distance! Lucia was a wonderful hostess. She greeted us at the apartment and was very flexible and accommodating. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again in the future if we return to Rome.

Lucia was a great host and always accessible. The apartment was clean and convenient to Vatican. As tourists we took the cab to most everywhere else.

We were 4 girlfriends traveling to Italy!! Can't tell you how much we loved our stay! Lucia was as so concerned that we had everything we needed and were happy! If you want to experience the church bells of St. Peter's Basilica ringing, this was absolutely divine. It is a mere walk to the Vatican, which you can see from the window, and we caught taxis so quickly on the boulevard just down from the VRBO to explore the other sites! We highly recommend staying here!! You will not be disappointed!!

Thank you, Lucia, for hosting us in your lovely apartment. There is a lift in the building, but there are approximately 12 steps to climb before getting to the landing. There is access to a rooftop terrace, which was a lovely surprise. The grocery store is less than a 5-minute walk from the apartment, and the train & bus station are also close. The apartment was very comfortable, and the breakfast items & beverages were a wonderful touch. The Vatican is minutes away, and the view of St. Peter's Basilica is incredible. Grazie Lucia!!

The apartment is in a nice building with an elevator. It's very nicely furnished and comfortable. There are restaurants and a grocery store that is within a short walk.
Anna was such an excellent host.
Overall a great experience.

We stayed at Lucia's apartment for 3 nights. The apartment is great and spacious for 2 and Lucia is a great host to work with. Two bathrooms even which was great! There is a church right next door and the bells were amazing to hear during the day and glad they didnt ring at night! Bus station is right nearby as well as restaurants. You can see St. Peter's from the bedroom. It takes about 30 mins to walk to Patheon and other sights like that but only 10 mins to the Vatican. For the nice accommodations and being away from the crowds, is was worth being further away.

Lucia is easy to work with and she has thought of everything to make your stay a pleasant experience. From a fully equipped kitchen, to the breakfast items including coffee and tea, to the nicely decorated living area, this apartment has it all. Of all the places our family stayed at during our travels around Italy, this apartment is number one on the list.

Spotless property. Convenient and thoughtful check-in. Lucia was able to meet us as soon as we landed(much earlier than we could check-in) to allow us to store our bags and then she met up with us a few hours later for our formal check-in. She brought us extra towels very quickly even after I told her not to worry about it. The property comes with breakfast treats- very nice touch. Most remarkable to us was just how quiet and peaceful the property was. We heard no street noise and it was super convenient to the Vatican and St Pietro train station. We stayed with our three teenagers who had plenty of room to stretch out. Thank you for a lovely stay!!

A friend and I spent one month in Rome at Lucia’s wonderful apartment. The location is the best. It’s walking distance to the Vatican and all the museums associated with the Vatican. It’s located easy, easy walking to the train station and you can catch a bus there too. You can catch a train into central Rome for €1. The apartment is nicely furnished and not overdone. The bedrooms are a nice size and there are 2 full bathrooms. The kitchen is very well equipped. Since we were visiting for a month, it was easy to walk a half block to the grocery store, buy staples and other things we might need. We could walk to Trionfale Market and buy fresh vegetables, fruit, meats and cheeses and bread of every variety. It made cooking in the kitchen such a pleasure. The washing machine and drying rack were very handy. The appliances in the kitchen are all in top shape! Lucia was quick to answer any texts or emails. She met us upon arrival and went over everything. She is an absolute angel to work with. You cannot go wrong with this rental!
