30 minute drive to Vancouver downtown was a bit long, but home was lovely and the hosts were very pleasant. Shelly was terrificin welcoming us

children were playing early morning and evenings, so house is not without a certain noise level

We had a wonderful 3days stay in Shelley's apartment in Burnaby. The apartment is very spacious with a terrace in the garden and it was very convenient to have a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and dryer. Our host Shelley was very friendly and helped us with anything we needed, umbrellas for the rain, a basketball for our sons and even a homegrown lettuce from her garden: thank you very much for everything - next time in Vancouver we would like to come back and stay here again!!

there is no sound proofing AT ALL. We could hear everything the homeowners were saying loud and clear. We heard chairs or beds or something heavy being drug around the floor above is the first night. I randomly woke up at night to lights being turned on in at night because you can see the light through the cracks in the door. For the price we paid we would have been better off in a hotel for the same price. The homeowner was very nice but when a person doesn’t get a good sleep due to noise levels and uncomfy squeaky beds it doesn’t help. We wish we could have cancelled the booking after the first night and went to a hotel. Kitchen sink was also dirty and had food residue in it and we didn’t use the sink. sink drain was full of leftover food. found ants crawling around on the floor as well.
