Great location… on the beach/bay side but a quick drive to the ocean. Reception/Jim (?) was super friendly and even offered us a beach umbrella when we realized we had forgotten ours… so nice!!

The view from the rooms is the hotel building across the street with water to left & right of that building. This room was located on the 2nd floor, in the building across the street from the beach and across from the other building blocking our view. Clearly beach front means something different to them and what I was expecting was not what we got. The unit needed major maintenance-like it had been neglected for a long time (rusted appliances, moldy ceilings, broken shower walls). The walls are so thin that you heard the neighbors talking, moving around their unit, opening and closing the doors. Entering into the unit you notice a musty smell, it was dark, dimly lit, and not welcoming at all. When we walked onto the deck (2nd floor which runs the length of the building), it wobbled, like it wasn't secure to the building, so we decided not to sit out. The photos online are not representative of this unit, they may not all look the same, as we saw a sign selling individual units.

This property is in a spectacular location and our room had great views of the ocean. The building is a bit old but the rooms are clean and well kept. Staff are very friendly.

It was a semi-detached cottage and we could clearly hear the toilet flushing in the other unit at night. This was mostly an issue because we have a young child that would wake up.

Location is amazing, 15 minutes to Provincetown and wellfleet. Ocean view is super amazing. Room size is great too

The view was amazing and the short drive to p-town where all the lovely shops are located on commercial st was easy and commercial street was amazing. The quiet private beach was peaceful and relaxing. I had an amazing time at horizons.

The location is awesome. It’s on a private beach and everyone gets to have an oceanfront view. Kitchen is well equipped.
Didn’t provide tea/coffee in the hotel room.
The cost is pricey compared to other resorts next door.

We were staying in a corner room on the second floor of the building across the road from the beach. View from our room was amazing. Overall hotel has a very nice location, friendly staff, and the room had everything we needed. Kitchenette was very helpful, a/c and wifi worked well. We also were able to get around without a car well: a bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and you can get to a couple of restaurants by 10-minutes walk.
The building is dated, you can hear every step from the room above and all the discussions from the neighboring room. Luckily we had quiet neighbors, otherwise our vacation would be awful.
Also we didn't find any facilities at the beach in front of the hotel, so used our own blankets. Probably there is an option of renting, but it wasn't communicated well to us.

The property is well maintained. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I liked the fact that the rooms all have kitchens. Beds were very comfortable. And the view of the water was very peaceful. We enjoyed ourselves so much. Near by beaches and P town a few minutes away. If you need down time with the ability to go and site see this is perfect. We loved it and plan to return soon.

Horizons Beach resort is a good choice to spend a night or two on Cape Cod. The rooms are clean, with new linens and a good shower. Small couch is extendable. Short drive to the beautiful Head of the Meadow beach on the ocean side of the Cape. They also have a lovely pool onsite. The manager was able to accommodate two adjacent rooms. The second building is fine, it's not waterfront but only a few steps across the street. It feels good to sleep with a balcony door open to hear the waves and the birds.
Kitchenette is rather outdated but fully functional. There is no shampoo or body wash in the bathroom, only soap.

Everything about our room was excellent. The view is one in a million. We had the upper northern corner room. Crack open the sliding glass door and the sound of the surf fills the room. Close it and it's silence. Full size refrigerator and electric range are included as is a full size coffee maker. Kitchen utensils are included . But it was the king bed which sealed the deal. Just an all around great facility.
The hot water came out a little brown but the cold water was fine.

Spacious, updated room with beautiful views of Cape Cod Bay and Pilgrim monument and Ptown. Kitchen was like new. Seems to have been updated very recently. Private balcony w/ chairs to sit outside was a big plus.
A couple of young teenagers running around and shouting after 10 pm at night, two nights in a row. What's up with parents who don't teach their kids consideration for others?
