Wonderful place in the centre of Gela. Great location near everything. The owner was extremely kind and welcoming. We immediately felt like home. Great bed, bathroom etc. Would definitely recommend going back!

The Host Francesca is beyond welcoming and eager to help. She waited for us during the check-in as we were a bit late trying to park the car in the tiny streets of Gela - she even let us park in her place and helped carry the bags upstairs. The room is big enough with a great bed and newly refurbished bathroom, all very clean. The second room was not occupied so we had all the facility to ourselves. Big balcony, the windows and balcony doors are protected. The breakfast is served in the kitchen that you are allowed to use, Francesca left cookies and muffins for us, explained how to use cappuccinator and offered tea and coffee capsules. She quietly served the breakfast in the morning (fresh pastry and a granite) and left before we went out. She checked on us few times to make sure we have everything we need and I had a real feeling I’m visiting my Sicilian aunt rather than staying in the hotel :)

There are B&Bs and there are places like home,staying with Francesca is like home. We felt very welcome and taken care of (from delicious breakfast to a beach umbrella). There are only two rooms (both beautiful with a big comfy bed)which gives you privacy. It’s a stone throw from the sea and the city center. Thank you for our stay, Francesca, love M+K

Francesca is a wonderfull host who did everything to make us feel welcome. The room is comfortable and the breakfast was nice.

The streets are quite narrow, so although you can park in the street I would advice to use the free Arena parking which has camera surveillance.
