A full house surrounded by nature

The place is just amazing. Ilona is a very nice lady, she's been very kind to us during our whole stay. She even recommended a place where we went for picnic. Bass lake is a place not to miss. The whole house is awesome. It offers an opportunity to live like locals do. We've seen deers around the house and around the town several times that made us wonder how good this town is to the wild animals, because wild animals are free to roam around. The house is clean and comfortable. There are 2 bedrooms, a living and dining area and a bathroom. My family enjoyed the cooking because Ilona allowed us to use the kitchen and cooking facilities, the house has a complete kitchen. Ilona is an amazing host, she is a fine and very kind lady. Same with her dog Bobba. We are going to miss her. The next time we would be around Yosemite we will definitely going back to her place. The place is awesome and quite and peaceful surrounded by nature.

Convenient and comfortable

Our host was extremely friendly and accommodating. She went above and beyond and even did our laundry for us. There was a lot of space and the kitchenette worked out nicely.

There wasn't much that we didn't like. We didn't realize the apartment was attached to the host's home. The only other thing we're the pillows. They were quite flat and uncomfortable.

2 bedroom charming unit

Ilona the owner was very friendly the unit was very comfortable. Plenty of room for us and our 3 dogs. Close to Yosemite and Bass Lake I would definitely book with her again

I wish to come back anytime again.

Really calm and clean house, Ilona, the owner is awsome, she was very helpful and nice, even take us to a short walk to introduce the town. Only 5 mins drive from restaurants and shops, and about 20 mins from the South Entrance to Yosemite. Perfect location and place to stay.

Great stay

Vicky was a great host she was attentive to all our needs. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. The beds were confortable and the shower had a lot of hot water and good pressure. We had a great stay.

I could see a family or group staying here quite comfortably. Great beds!!!!

Very spacious and quiet.

There were stairs to get up and down to the property that were a little scary for older generation like me. I think adding 331/3% for cleaning fee was a little excessive. Especially for only one person staying. No toilet paper allowed in toilet. It had a bidet.

a good job that this was only a two night stay. otherwise we would have had to find alternative accommodation

the location close to Yosemite. about an hour and 20 drive from Yosemite valley falls

limited cooking facilities and the bathroom is not great having a hand written sign on the toilet seat stating that no toilet paper should be flushed down the toilet. there was an over powering smell of air freshener and the sofa beds were broken. power failure on the final morning meaning no water or electricity.

Exceptional

This was the perfect place for my group and I to stay! We traveled over to the area to go to Yosemite. It was the perfect location and close to everything. The host was very sweet and welcoming. The house was clean, cozy, and felt like a home away from home for a few days. I would absolutely recommend this place!

The property was cute form the outside. However, while the location was convenient, the rooms, kitchen, bathroom, etc. smelled dirty, e.g. musty, like body odor, like a basement. The surfaces were also dirty and bedding was clearly unlaundered. The space appears outdated and like it does not get cleaned.

Location was great for Yosemite and Mariposa Grove. Attentive host. She got the condo ready early for us! Great value for money.

Great Gateway to Yosemite

The location was Fabulous! It was so easy to get to Bass Lake and Yosemite Valley! Oakhurst is a charming town with many nice restaurants... especially the Oakhurst Grill! Unit decor was charming and our hostess was delightful!

Somehow neither the TV or microwave were operating correctly. Otherwise the kitchen was great. And unfortunately the beds were quite firm and uncomfortable!

Comfortable like our own home and good for family

After Glacial point sunset view, arrival past 10pm. Ilona insists on waiting for us to give introduction of this beautiful house. Very comfortable like our own home. It’s huge too. Good for family travel.

It was not at all what I expected and I will not do that again!!

Sadly there is nothing good to say about the place. The location touted as close to everything is overstated. You have to drive to everything and driving in and out of the property was a pain.

The parking was terrible. There was a dirt road and very dangerous steps down to the "apartment". There was no lock on the door between the apartment and the owner's home which is attached. That was very strange and very uncomfortable. The apartment was infested with ants and earwigs. We did not cook due to a improper stove with no ventilation system. The overall room was very old and smelled poorly, especially the bathroom which had very old used towels. It had lots of unnecessary decorations with old animal skins on the couches. I could go on and on.....This was my first time at a place like this and the last.

Exceptional

Friendliness of the host.privacy. access to all cooking materials eg pots,pans, utensils. Etc. Quiet, close to everything. Host went out of her way to accommodate us. Very friendly and approachable to the young children. Shared her pets with them.

No handicap accessibility however, our host was an excellent help and provided easier accessibility to the apt entrance.

Comfortable place for weekend away near a lake

Dog friendly, owner is very nice and fun to chat with. The aircon units in each room is a plus. Bed was comfortable. Lots of space in the living room and kitchen. Bass Lake is close-by with good boating and swimming activities.

Pillows were a bit old and lumpy.
